Had another good night at the track with revention pro power sc10.2 ft . But tonight I tryed the stock with hypbred boost and took it out in the 2nd heat, back to mod 2
I guess our carpet track is not big enough for the power!!!!!

lol. the hybrid boost can definitely make it rip. but you can also set it up so it is much less aggressive. use the lowest setting (40%), one of the lower settings for the max RPM 125k?, use 3 or maybe 6 for the slope (this makes the boost come in much softer)

This might sound basic, but double check your connection on the motor. Maybe one of the female bullets coming from the ESC is loose on the motor.

There were a few posts with that issues awhile back.

I have been checking the connectors and even looking at the external solder joints on the ESC board. I'm down to it being either a bad switch or the ESC is faulting out internally (bad solder joint on the board?). I'm going to make a jumper plug to eliminate the switch. Unless you know of some reason the factory switch needs to be there??? The ESC should power up without a signal/button wire correct?

Who's running the Blaze motor in a heavy short course? Is it working well?

Dependability............that's what I am looking for. Give me some feedback on the speed passion product. I am looking at a Reventon pro 1.1 combo probably a 7.5 or 8.5 for my 44.2............

me personally, there GT2.0 Pro was the most dependable esc I have had. If you want something dependable on the cheap, I would give that one a vote.

Does someone know if you can add a sensor endplate on the 1/8 Blaze sensorless motors? Some esc's only run sensored motors.

I am having problems with my replacement revention pro 1.1. The first one had problems from the start and speed passion replaced it and the motor. Just installed the new one and I am having the same issues. The orange light is on but the red is blinking. This is a fresh pack and just testing it on the stand. Solder connections look good. Unit wires and motor are getting warm after 20 seconds running on the stand.

Any suggestions. I will call speed passion again in the am. I also disabled low voltage and thermal

You can use one LCD card that came with the Pro for all 3.

Cain 01-03-2014 06:33 AM

hopefully speed passion in the future makes the Kvs available in sensorless config in sensored mode as well. the Kvs for those 1/8 motors are more practical.
