Not sure why you are having all these issues. There are a good number of guys running Speed Passion at Leisure Hours, Timewarp/Hobbytown Lake in the Hills, and Streamwood. Hopefully one of the local SP drivers can help you out on site. |
Am having a similar reventon pro 1.1 issue. Will the cogging ruin the motor..?

Has there been a resolution or acknowledgement of the cogging issue with the RP 1.1. I'm having the same issue but it is only when I first set the car down or let the car sit idle for a period of time. Mine also seems to be running a bit on the hot side (155). It's in a b44.2 with a 7.5. Have tried different gearing, different servos, different motors, sensor wires. Have tried different 30mm fans to try and help the heat up issue also. Nothing helped more than a degree or 2 and nothing changed the cogging.

Just wanna make sure i understand this boost correctly on the reventon pro. W the box hooked up and going under" timing" the increments are the actual boost correct? I have a 13.5 i wanna get some more power out of and wanna make sure im adjusting the esc correctly

Need you help, can't find the answer.
I've got a v1 Reventon Pro ESC. Breaking and the reverse works, but I have no brake on reverse. Am I missing something obvious here? All help appreciated! |

Pulling the trigger in reverse will activate the brakes.
Only thing that happens is that from neutral it goes back to forward drive, but nothing like the usual braking in reverse. I mean all my other ESCs if they have reverse they also have reverse brake, but here braking in reverse does nothing and the car just rolls out, continue the brake and forward jumps in after a while. Using a DX4s and SR410 receiver. With other ESC combos and this setup I have zero issues. Only thing that I can think of is that the ESC is either faulty, it is a setting on the ESC or a combination with the settings on the DX4s. |

competition v3 7.5t issue
hey all...kinda new to speed passion motors. got one 2 weeks ago after mostly running trinity d3.5s..anyway, ran my buggy twice with this motor on loose dirt after the first time out i noticed a grindingclicking noise coming from the drivetrain. i thought it was the diff, so i took the motor off and rolled it and didnt hear the noise, put the motor back on rolled it, noise again. swapped the motor out and rolled it no noise. I hand turned the rotor in my hand and could hear a grinding noise. I cleaned it with an air compressor, still heard the noise, swapped out the rotor and still hear the noise. the best way i could describe the noise is similiar to a bad gear mesh. Is there a way to spray something in the stator or clean the rotor? it honestly feels like loose dirt caught between the rotor and stator, but like i said i blew it out with the compressor. any help is appreciated, and if this was discussed before my apologies for bringing it back up
Thanks |
I am assuming motor spray will do the job and clean the motor as well?
I use something similar to motor spray, at least what I have been advised and read that is supposed to be safe for a motor as well that I get at a hardware store. |
