I am running a GT 2.0 LPF and my temps on the ESC are close to 160F. Am I too high? Motor temps at around 135F but I have it in a Mod Buggy and the fan only fits under one of my bodies without cutting them. The ESC is running a V2 7.5 and I have it twisted pretty tight with gearing and a little boost. The thing runs perfect through qualifiers and mains but I want to make sure I am not doing any damage.

I went ahead and sold the Cirtix 2200kv that came with my esc before I used it. I've had such good luck with the XERUN motors that I bought another one (sensored 2000kv) of those to match up with my newest SP Silver Arrow V2.
Once your new motors come out I will probably pick one up.

Also, if possible, can you mount the fan blowing toward the ESC, in front of the ESC, side of the ESC, behind of the ESC....just any place that you can double sided tape the fan and blowing some kinda cool air toward the ESC...? I have seen alot of Losi 22 did that...they don't mount the fan ABOVE the heat sink, but stand up the fan and blow toward the ESC...some cool air is better then no air...

I have a question about the Cirtix Short Course Master PC software. I feel like an idiot and cant get it to work.
Bought the usb adapter, installed the software and drivers. The blue light comes on on the adapter and the speedo lights up, but the software will not change over from the logo screen. Is the software not compatible with windows 7?

Don't waste your time, will not work on 2s. I have also tried this as well with a Ballistic 4.5 and a tekin 4.5. The Esc not stable at 2s so it will keep shutting off or at most make one lap, I even tried auto lipo cut off and lipo cut off, off and will not work

Greetings all,
I am looking for some help with the GT 2.0 LPF Black ESC that I have installed in my SC10 2wd. When I punch the trottle the voltage kicks in but only slightly. Then after about 1/2 a second, the voltage will max out. I have loaded several different software pakages and changed all settings I can think of, and I just can't get rid of the delay. I use a Spektrum DX3S transmitter and when I calibrate the ESC, I never see any lights on the ESC, I just hear the beeps. I even tried calibrating the ESC in pitch darkness, still no lights,(fyi). My thought is maybe the capacitors for the ESC are going, where they have to charge up first, then allow the ESC to push the voltage to the motor, but will discharge when I let off the throttle, only to have to charge again when I punch the throttle. I race a rather small off road dirt track and there is alot of punch/brake/punch/break sequences occurring quickly during the race. Could the capacitors for the GT 1.1 be used for the 2.0 to switch out for a test. Or could I just disconnect the caps and try to get a better throttle reponse. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was also looking around on the web and some people have ran the Silver Arrow 2.0 on 2S with no issues. Might end up selling the SA 2.0 if I cant figure something out to make it work.
What about running more caps??

Do you guys have any rough estimate of price range?? Im Really hoping they are no more than a Tekin RS Pro or LRP SSX or other High Priced ESC's. Was so glad to see the Most economical ESC company was raising the bar with innovation, just hoping pricing stays low!!
