This is ridiculous trying to buy Speed Passion ESC's. If the demand is so high maybe more should be purchased at the warehouse. I don't mean to sound trite but waiting this long for something to be in stock makes me want to investigate another brand. I can't even find ONE to purchase from your store Solara.

Just my two cents.

Thanks,

1. is that the Speed Passion LCD programmer box?
2. is that the Speed Passion LCD programmer software within?
3. You have to connect the ESC to receiver, motor, and batteries and power up in order to get the box to read...

Anyone running the silver arrow V2/2200kv Speed Passion combo in 1/8 truggy or buggy? I just bought one and was wondering if the motor would last. I have a V2 esc in my VE8 and that's reliable but I didn't know about the motors. I seen on amain where it was said to loctite the end bell screws of the motor before using it.....

We are releasing a new line of SP 1/8th motor very soon (Jan/Feb)....Jorn Neumann just won the JConcept race with that prototype motor with the SAII ESC with his new 1/8th Durrango.

So does that mean the one I just bought is crap?

Initial setup

Hi all:

I apologize if this has been covered before. I just picked up the Short Course Master ESC and a Ultra Sportsman v3 13.5 motor. I cannot seem to get the ESC to register the throttle settings. I have verified that everything is connected correctly. I hold the red button on the switch down, and then turn the ESC on. After about a second, it starts beeping constantly, and the red LED flashes. I then click the button for neutral, go full-throttle, click the button, then go full brakes, and click the button. The yellow LED blinks the proper number of times for each. I then power the ESC down, wait 3 seconds, and power it back up. The red led blinks a couple of times, then both the red and yellow stay on. There is no change to anything no matter what I do with the throttle. I do have proper steering, however.

A couple of notes...I am using a Losi RX/TX (the XXX-SCT RTR radio). When I first turned the system on, and did not bind it, the motor would turn if I held the throttle in reverse, and seemed to brake when I moved the throttle to go.

Does anyone have any clues as to what is happening?

Thanks
Matt

Got it going, somehow. Not sure what I did differently, but it's humming along now.

Thanks
Matt
