I just checked the manual and under Motor Rotation (CW/CCW) it lists N/A for all of the Reventon series ESC firmware options.

Other than going back to RM, the only way it will turn the correct rotation with MM is to either add or remove a gear from within the transmission. I'm not familiar with the Proline Pro-2 so I'm not sure if that is even an option.

Sorry, it cannot be done. You can only do that in sensorless mode. Switch A and C wire, but not in sensored mode. Reventon series ESC does not have motor rotation options. But the upcoming Silver Arrow 3 ESC will.

That Proline Midmotor setup is a custom build and not out of the box from Pro-line. So I'm pretty sure it's using the stock gear box.

As Howard said, if you want just run no sensor wire and switch A and C. If you are running modified motors it should be decent.

I didn't figure it would work. I tried running my motor sensor less and I had cogging issues so I will just run my hobby wing in here. Yes the pro 2 is a custom configuration using the stock gearbox. Thanks

i have never adjusted the can timing before. still new to all this but, i tried it today and not sure if i did it correctly. Is this what its supposed to look like in the end with the timing turn all the way to the right? Thanks in advance

Edit: all i did was loosen the 3 screws on the front and just pushed the sensor connection to the right and tightened everything back up?

Default Firmware disruption

I've just been updating the firmware on my speed passion 1.1 ex and we had a power failure and the PC turned off with the update incomplete. Now the PC won't recognise the esc nor will it work in the car. Is there anything I can do to make it work again.

Please help thanks

Hey guys, I have a speed passion v3 MMM 13.5r motor in my 2wd buggy and a new competition v4 6.5r motor on the way to go in the buggy as well. I'm wondering what temperature range is good for these motors. It seems as though different manufacturers have different ranges. Thanks for the help.

Anything under 140f is good.
If anybody needs. I have 2 newer Reventon 1.1's in F/S.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any suggestions on gearing? It's a Losi 22 2.0. Currently I have a 78 spur and a 24 pinion and temps are around 133f. Thanks for your quick reply. I've had a heck of a time with gearing for this motor. Thanks again for the help.

Thanks kwiksi. The problem I'm having is that it seems like my car is just missing a little bit of power compared to the other cars I run against. There's a rather large double that everyone can make except myself. I have my timing turned up all the way. I haven't adjusted the can yet. If anyone has any ideas for me to try, I appreciate it. Thanks
