Might be after holidays. I know they are really trying to get this motor not just on par with others, but better.
Good luck ever trying to contact technical support!!! After 3 minutes of being on hold it sends you to an answering machine!!! Never in my life of being on hold have I been sent to an answering machine!!! Left them a message to call me back but when will that be??? Whatever happened to staying on hold until you could actually talk to someone "first call first serve style" So pissed with speed passion first time on the track and my motor fries and now I have to leave a message and hope to the rc gods they even return my call!!! By the time they do call back even if they do I will already have ordered a new motor!!! And I tell you this it won't be a speed passion motor!!!!!!

Their CS is not great that's for sure. I bought my setups online through FaceBook, SpeedPower is what its called in the US. Did a RMA online and also used their chat. Did get my ESC exchanged but it took a long time. Most all my ESC and Motors are SP so I bought extra as spares if needed. They are cheap enough and it's always a good idea to have a spare setup if you're racing.

Are you running outdoors in warm/hot weather? Most guys I have seen and talked to generally will not run a fan in 4WD buggy. You can use the ones sold by Speed Passion. If you are really concerned and want something high powered then maybe checkout the WTF or R1Works brand fans.

I run the Fan on my 410 as temps do rise in that car and I run a 2nd fan under the front drive shaft blowing over the motor, away from my ESC. ESC feels hot at times but has yet to let me down.

So since Speedpower , and god bless them because they are a great supplier, has not restocked their red ring 12.5 rotor in months.... I would like to buy the trinity 12.5 and retrofit it. It looks like 6 mm on pinion side with 2 mm on board side, shimming. Anyone see any problems in doing this?

For those NOT having trouble with Brakes, what are you running for EPA?
I ran My Rev R in my Bmax2 MR yesterday and tuned my brake EPA clear down to like 60% just enough to allow some fade, but yet if I Stomp it, I can get the car to pivot. Brake at 100% are too much.

Could be, Raul. I will probably just give the Trinity HT rotor a shot and see if the shimming works. I'm not giving up anything on the top end for straight speed... but through the technical "s" section, I lose 2-3 feet a lap to the D4's with HT rotors. You can definitely see them launch harder in the low end area of the track.

I have found that with blinky firmware. 17.5 with a 12.3 rotor. The brakes are soft. But, when you use a 12.5 rotor with the same settings for brakes. You will do a donuts.
I have never had issues with brakes in any other firmware.
I just mess with throttle % on the radio and then set higher drag brake to get what I want when using a 12.3 rotors.
