Speed Passion Thread

I have a Tech question of sorts. I am looking at getting the Reventon Pro 1.1EX very soon, and with my stock car (17.5 2wd buggy) I run both stock and mod, so I want an ESC that I can add boost and such for the mod class. My question is, can this be down with the LED or LCD card, or only through the Computer Program? I believe a friend has a reventon pro, and stated he can only change his on the computer. This does not effect me at all, I am just curious so I know.
Thank you in advance,
Brandon

Hi Guys,
I just bought a Reventon R with a V3 9.5 motor for my son's Losi 22T.
Installed everything and it's running well but I have a few questions.
When I plugged to the computer with the led card, it had Mod0 loaded on the esc but the manual states that Mod1 is the default firmware? Are some shipped with MOd0 as default?
Which firmware would be best for offroad track? Been reading the entire thread but it's hard to figure out the difference between the firmware. Stock vs mod... etc.
I geared it 80-20. So far not that impressed with power\speed but temps are low so might gear it up. What's a good gearing for 9.5 in this Losi 22T?
Appreciate the help.

Hey guys I picked up a Reventon S ESC and the manual says it can work with a motor down to 9.5T... So I was thinking of grabbing one of these from Hobbyking:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=21957
But that motor lists a max current of 47A where as the manual says the ESC is only rated for 40A Continuous? So will they work together comfortably or would I be pushing my luck? Thanks!

I'm doing the same thing. But with two cars(b5 and b5m). So I bought two of the pro 1.1. I was told with the pro box which is the LCD box that I can add boost.

With the box you can adjust boost assuming you have the correct software loaded on the ESC that allows boost adjustments. But what he is saying is switching the software on the ESC from a boosted or "Mod" software to a Blinky software. That cannot be done without a computer. Or apparently it can also be done with the wifi module and the app on your mobile device. But it cannot be done with the just the LCD/LED box.

Hey guys. I picked up a truck that came with a citric stock spec speedo and 13.5 combo. I would like to run this in one of my b4 biggies in either 13.5 or 17.5 class. But, when I tried to run it with the 13.5 it ran fine for a couple minutes or so and the slows. I keen wheel just spin slowly when picked up off ground at full throttle. I down loaded the manual, but it lists all the other speedos with it and is very confusing and vague in the setup part. I was told it was probably the lipo cutoff setting or temp setting. But o don't have a clue how to change either. I can get it into setup where it does the beep--beep, but what does it keen and what do I do to get to the next setting? LoL is anyone familiar with it? Can help me thru this?

All Reventons have the same lower case.
Make sure you recalibrate your transmitter to the ESC. Are you sure you downloaded the Cirtix Stock Club manual? It's an older ESC and the manual was only for that version.

Has anybody run the Blaze SC 5700kv?
It seems a little sluggish with not a lot of rip to it. I boosted timing up slightly about 6 deg and it seemed to help but not sure how much timing is in the motor or how much I can go. I thought the 5700 would be more than plenty but it does not have nearly as much rip or punch as my Tekin 4300.
Any help would be appreciated.
