I was using my iPhone, I tried it on 7.04 but I haven't tried it on 7.1 yet. Was the app fully functional with the wifi module? I will try again today.

I just tried it and now I think my esc is messed up. It said connected, I clicked on the firmware and then the app kept saying esc disconnected. I cannot get it to stay connected.

How are the REVENTON pro!1.1 holding up, and what do you guys think needing Esc for mod and another for stock buggy and I was seeing how durable and good customer service is.

I've been running the Reventon Pro's even before I was picked up and starting running for SP. I love the 1.1s. Throttle is a little more smooth than the other Pros, and the 1.1 EX comes in black, which has been proven to be a few tenths faster. :p

Stock or Mod it's a great ESC. Can't go wrong.

Can you find out from your sponsor when the SP iPhone app will be updated?

There's a few that work at SP USA that post on here from time to time. I'm sure they'll have more info than I could get.

They're pretty good about getting firmware out regularly for ESCs, so I would expect the same for the app software too. Remember though, Apple is much harder to work with than Android is. It's easy to write, but getting it approved it a whole different story.

The EX does 1Cell operation without a booster. They do 2Cell just fine however. I run the EX's because I like the black, but there's no advantage on either option.

For REVENTON PRO, it is 3A, and I have tried the Savox and even the high power brushless servo with 7.4V power and no problem.

This is an old post, but exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!

I have a very similar question. In the manual it just has timing. No boost options. So does speedpassion have a boost option? And if so how tunable
Is it?

Reventon pro soldiering connections?

Do you guys use the small holes for soldiering the BEC or just attach to the + and - wires?

You can follow the directions to enter "Safe Mode" to reload firmware if you think you are having issues.

The issue is not with SP. Having an the app approved on iOS/Apple is a slow process. I'm sure an RC app is low on their list :P

Color on the EX is black and it will run 1s for 1/12th scale racing without any extra boosters.

Plenty of boost with Speed Passion. There should be a few setup sheets on the main website that show how drivers are setting up their ESC options.

If you are really good at soldering electronics I say go for it. Otherwise most just attach it to an exposed part of the positive and negative wires.

I have the reventon stock club race with the 10.5r motor. I hooked it up and it worked. Took it to the track and within a couple minutes (2-3) it stopped all together. It is just flashing the red light in the esc. It appears that's saying I have a low battery? It doesn't go away no matter what battery is in there, I even turned off lvc. Any ideas?

The app works guys, it's just not Apple approved. Have you tried it and are having trouble? What

I have used the wireless module a few times on iPad 7.1 and the real trick is just being patient. It's a little hard to tell when the app is doing something in the background. I have also seen it say "disconnected" a few times. However when I try again i'm usually able to update firmware and adjust settings. Sometimes it just takes a couple of retries….I'll try again and see if I can recreate the problem.
