Anyone using the blaze sct motors? Are they true 4 pole ? what is the max cell battery u can use?looked on web sites and they don't say ..and what they do say is 4pole technology that may be a 4 pole or not.if u have run these motors how do they compare to the tekin and revtech 540 can 4pole motors..
Howard are u out there?? Can u chime in on these motors?

Connections are correct and the calibrating order is correct according to the manual. However, I tried again today and now every thing is working fine. Not sure what I did different. Thank you!!

I just got 2 Pro 1.1's last weekend and installed them both. one was perfect and the other did this very same thing. So I dropped my car on my table and it lurched forward so I grabbed it and tried the throttle and it did nothing so I held down the throttle and smacked the car on my knee and it kicked on.
Seems something was loose inside from factory. My buddy is their local rep so he simply swapped me out for another one which was perfect and sent the bad one back for evaluation/replacement.
I've had nothing but excellent experiences with Speed Passion products outside the single ESC and their Motors are also top notch. Just wish they'd place the plugs all on the same side so the wires all reside together for a slightly cleaner look. All in all, still the nicest and cleanest motor installs I've seen.

I'm also considering their DOKYO drift motor since it has an internal rotor fan. I think it might work well in my DEX410 and stay extra cool in hot weather. Anyone else tried it?
Thanks!

No need to get a drift motor. All you need is a 30mm fan under the front drive shaft. I prefer MuchMore's fans as they are robust and extremely quiet and draw next to nothing. I just stick it down with double sided tape but Spec-R makes a great mount that you'll need to drill for mounting.

I haven't not run the MMM version motor yet however I don't usually run any static timing on my MOD motors. Meaning no timing on the can. I do however adjust my ESC timing often. This is how I tune the motor to the track. If the track is extremely loose I may turn the timing down as well as the DDRS on the Reventon Pro….if I have a lot of traction I may turn it up.

I think your right about the drift motor. I listened to the sound of it on some youtube videos. I think I will keep it for my TC when I get one.
Do you mind comparing your speed passion ESC to the Tekin since you have both?

I'll have to take pics of my car for you. I kept the fan on the ESC and placed the 30mm blowing towards the motor. You can run both, provided you have enough ports on your Rx.
And yes you'd have to drill the chassis unless you decide to remove the electronics Tray, in which case you'd use the front mount where the antenna goes.
This is the gentleman's car who did it first:

yeah I never could get it to work with the tray so mine is already out. I have considred trying to put it back in as I can see some of the convenience factor of it.
It's been relatively cool out here lately so I'm not sure I even need a second fan, I know this sounds crazy but my motors don't get that hot. I'm thinking summertime in LA I will definitely need it. Definitely if I run outdoor at Hot Rod. Although I usually run indoor at OCRC or SCVRC, I would expect ambient temps to be up 20 degrees from now come summer so I'm trying to prep.
Thanks for sharing the pics!!

Well I'm in South Florida so the Heat sweats. LOL
Kind of have to have the 2nd fan for safety and it still gets pretty hot. I'm half tempted to poke 3 nice holes in each scoop vent of the side pods but my paint job is to damn nice to take a chance right now. LOL
