We need to pass the ON ROAD 4T motor with full boost first...if that's not working, can't run it on 4x4.

Dumb Question
but I am still new to this hobby,

I am running one of the team driver set up for the Losi XXX-SCT ESC Settings wise I am using a 2.0 LPF ESC.

How Do I know for sure I am running blinky?

The set up said for Stock class but I want to make sure so educate myself on this.

This set up: ESC setting only motor is different

I had a similar issue but all I did is get some 3m 4011 exterior tape which is really like a gel and use two together as servo/esc tape and it fixed my issue. Works awesome as vibration absorbtion and I also assure you that it will hold your electrics better than any other two sided tape! Good Luck!

For SCT 2WD stock 17.5...our latest setup is using the super 7 SILVER RED 12.5mm rotor with tall gearing...works great.
Thanks for the info! I have ran great in 17.5 with my little setup won spring points series but now we have started a open 2wd elec. class and wanted to run it on non points races. The other answer to my question was what I needed and I realize now it's the stator the effects the kv/turn. I know nob question but I am a nitro guy who is learning that electric classes are fun too but can be just as complicated at tuning and setup as nitro. I am going to just buy a new esc/motor for the mod class because my SCT Master esc is low amp and not really a mod. class esc. It came with a v2 11.5 3600kv but I don't think the two will cut it in mod. but the v3 17.5 I bought and SCT Master esc work great in stock. Any advice on new SP esc/motor for 2wd SCT mod.? Thanks!

i am far from sand baggin. But after this series I will move up. I hear there are certain people crying. The worst part is its not anyone running in novice or associated with novice. Its cool though.

It is what it is.

Can I get that off the speed passion website?

I have the software on my work computer as I only use Mac products at home.

for 2WD off road buggy...LPF, GT2.1 ProStock and GT2 PRO are all capable to do the very similar job. LPF for the lowest price, GT2.1 for a better ESC heat distribution...and GT2 PRO are compeltely out of stock because of the On and Off Road national....

But I think I know Stormer or A-main might have some left...

It should already be loaded on your computer, click the last tab with everything hooked up. I think its called software version? Scroll all the way down til you see 508 blinky and load that by clicking update. I'm pretty sure that's the direction.

Default A Couple of Questions

I have a GT2.0 Pro that I had been using in "blinky" mode in my onroad car. I installed the esc into my B4.1. For the upcoming indoor season, I want to switch to 2wd mod. I am going to "boost" my 17.5 until I get the skill sets to handle a lower turn motor. I have the 428stock software installed. Can someone tell me how the different timing and boost functions interact? Or, where I can read about it? I searched the Speed Passion threads here and onroad, but I did not see anything.

Also, every now and then from a dead stop, when I hit the throttle, there is a delay and then the car will accelerate. As long as the car is rolling, there is never a hesitation;only occasionally from a dead stop. I am usung a Savox servo, but with a Futaba radio system, and I am using a large cap. When I had the same esc installed in my onroad car (identical electronics, and NO cap) it never hesitated. I have tried the B4.1 with a cap, no cap, new sensor cable, switched motors, different settings on the esc, and I even took the radio apart and cleaned the throttle. All to no avail. Any suggestions?

I had some questions about the Reventon R. SP's website said it will work down to a 5.5 motor. Would it run a 6.5 in a 4wd buggy without issues? 4wd seems to put everything to the test. Would it be best to wait until the Pro model comes out? Any ideas when the pro model will be out?

Is this esc ROAR approved?

Also, anyone know when the wifi interface will be in stock again?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have any of you used the Cirtix 1/8th scale slotless motors? I have used the speed passion stuff in my 1/10th scales, but 1/8th scale e-buggy is my main class in the summer and I want to try something different.

Couple of questions:

Silver arrow v2 esc: is this the best SP esc for 8th buggy? Also, would curren warehouse stock have the latest software or still need updating to v1.33? (I ask as I don't have a windows pc but could borrow one). How much difference does v1.33 make?

Also, has anyone used this esc with the thunderpower motors (z3r8 8th motors) as this is how I would probably run it?

Finally, what is the BEC like on the silver arrow 2? Every esc I have used I have had to get an eternal (castle) BEC for, so it's no big deal, just wondering!

Thanks,

Dave
