Hi,
i've been running a VF8.27 motor on a LRP IX8 esc 3 times and I thought it was getting hot fast. Yesterday, at 3rd practice, I noticed a funny sound coming from the car so I checked and... the VF8 can was broken open
ca 0.8 inches from its rear. I just got it from Amain 3 weeks ago, I feel quite sick I must say
... The track is hard pack with dust, many turns, a few jumps, I'm running 11/48 (final gr 14.44), 4s, car all checked in perfect condition.
I was concerned about the motor temperature, so I sent a message to the tech team at Viper through their contact form, after my 2nd practice 8 days ago (I received a copy on my email address). I never received any reply

I saw this problem happened to someone else on this forum: I'd like to know if there's anything I can do about this broken motor? I don't want to misjuge Viper R/C products for that, because I've read very good things about them. I'd rather like to understand what happened and know what to do now!
