Yea i just got the 4000 i have a HW 4700 but it's just to much for our track and i wanted the viper to go with my VTX8 in my tekno 4X4 SC anyway and also got a hoodie, i almost picked up the 4000 yesterday but held off for some reason now i know why...lol

A guy at the local track was saying the Viper VTX8 and Tekin 4300hd aren't compatible or don't work well together.

Has anyone ran that combo together and if so, did you have trouble with it?

I am looking to put Viper electronics in my TLR SCTE 2.0.

The vtx8 would work fine with the pro4 4300hd. But check out the sale on the vf4 4500 and 4000 right not at viper. Save some coin and get a great motor.

not sure what the comparison is on power between a 4300HD 550 4 pole versus vipers 540 4 poles, I would assume the 550 4 pole would be more powerful just by it being a 550 .

I have heard of people using the Tekin 4300HDs with no issues, maybe what you heard was related to the older software for the VTX8?

I have ran the VTX8 with the Tekin 4300hd in my 4x4 sc with no trouble at all, i'm all viper now got my new VF4.40 4000 yesterday nice one day shipping
of course the shops only 60 miles away from me...lol
