Double check a few mechanical things first. Remove your pinion and try to roll the rear wheels. If it doesn't roll, your problem is not an ESC setting, it is most likely axle spacing, bad hub bearings or a bad bearing in the transmission. If it does roll, double check that your gear mesh isn't too tight. If all of that checks out, check for drag brake. Set it to 0 and increase it as you feel that you need.

EDIT:

Also double check your throttle trim. Set your throttle and brake EPA to 100 and your throttle trim to 0, then recalibrate the ESC to the radio.

As Brandon said - always check the mechanical side to make sure you don't have a bad bearing or something bent.

On the speedo, Drag Brake settings and proper calibration should be checked.

Finally - on the motor itself. With the motor out of the car, spin it. Should spin free, if it has resistence, there could be a short internally. Although 2 pole motors once that happens they should stop running (4 pole different story).

Pretty sure I answered your question via Facebook but just in case, we got 5mm x 13mm x 4mm for that bottom bearing. Top is standard brushless motor bearing.

1. Connect a proper/charged battery pack to the ESC.
2. Turn on the transmitter with the throttle endpoint
adjustments at 100% and all throttle trims centered.
3. Press and hold the red power button on the V-PORT for three seconds (Followed by beep tone, F/N LED on the V- PORT will be indicated as the image at right)
4. Pull full throttle and hold, while holding press the red power
button once. (Followed by beep tone, N/R LED will be indicated
as the image shown at right.)
5. Push full brake and hold, while holding press the red power
button once. (Followed by beep tone, all LED’s will cycle.)
6. Calibration completed!

Straight from the Viper VTX10 manual, same way I do mine every time.

Thanks for the reply. My instuctions are different than that. Mine must be really old!! Lol. I'll give it a try. Also, I have an M12 and the steering, throttle and brake go to 150%? Should I calibrate both at 150% or 100% like it suggests in the viper instructions? Not sure?? Thanks.
