the fan doesnt come on at all when plugged into esc but where the capacitor is there is a plug but it is over 5 volts so i dont want to ruin the fan i just got this back from viper saturday and it says a64 software
What kind of fan is it? Is it designed for hobby use?
5 volts shouldn't hurt the fan. Most RC fans are in the 5 volt range.

I will only run the fan outdoors this summer I didn't know if there was disabled or not in a program. I hope to put a voltmeter on it to see if not May wire up through receiver
Is it brand new or older? It should come on after the unit completes the start up program. PM me with more information and if you have more detailed questions. Nick/Viper

nikos: can you give any info on how you guys finalized on can design? by that I mean, were there benefits you saw to a smooth can versus say the design of the 1/10 scale motors? |
I could totally be wrong. I'm not a SC racer.
