So the copperhead will be able to do Sensored? I will just hold out a bit longer if thats the case :D

Would you recomend waiting for the copperhead over going with the VXTr (I think thats the right letter combination :D )and sensored 550 motor (weights not an issue for me)

The Copperhead is sensorless only, no sensor port on the ESC. It's very good but if you want sensored you will have to wait a little longer. We will have the VTX8 which will run our sensored 4 poles. :sneaky:

Will the copperhead systems come with a pro gauge?

cm.stites 11-02-2011 06:39 PM

From what salad told me no they will not come with the pro gauge.

Will the 10r have any issues running a 6.5 turn 540 novak motor in a sc10 4x4? It has a 14mm tuning rotor. I'm currently running a MMP and it doesn't seem to care other then having to run an extranal BEC. I'm making the switch to Viper products in my other 2 racers and was curious if the 10r would be able to handle the 4x4 chassis.

Also is there a FAQ page that has good setups for spec racing? I didn't notice one on the viper forum, but that site seems to have low traffic.

Thanks

+1
I am about to change my mind, have been faithfully waiting. If the product is not ready, dont talk. very bad impression to me, can care less how fun and good the new product will be. Tekin is not costing that much more. someone already said its not in 150 range. When i need to play, i can pay. this is very true in our hobby people. I am gambling with this Cooperhead NEW line of products, yet Tekin or CC have proven records. And i need to wait for such a long waiting period?!?!

The VTX10R will have no problems with that motor.

Cm.stites is correct, the ProGauge is separate, it does not come with the combos.

With the correct settings it will have no problems, however with the 540 motors in the SC10 4wd the tuning window is much smaller. You would be better off running the VTX10R with a Viper VST 5.0L.

If you email me [email protected], I can hunt around for a setup for your car. I use our Facebook page for cars I am unfamiliar with, we have a good following there.
