Found them and both rear motor and mid motor! Saw pic of ESC with black heatsink! Is that available to buy or a pre production unit?

Went racing Friday night and my viper 10.5 motor & esc ran great.
MUST SEE VIDEO.... Qual'ed 4th. The 1st half of the video i was battling for 2nd then the 2nd half i was battling for 1st. very exciting video. The battle for 2nd was with a silver Kyosho and the battle for 1st was with a green and black Kyosho. I got the win by .036 of a second.

I am having some trouble. I just installed a 10r into my sc104x4 with an LRP 5.5 540 with a 13mm shaft (yes you read that correctly 540) i am running 12/62 on the gearing. My motor temps are around 125 -130 for the 3 mins i am able to run it but my esc temps get up to 175-200 especially the 2 resistors and the wire/post connections. I am running no punch, highest pwm on the throttle and the brake trying to keep it cooler. No boost/stock config. 5% drag brake.
I dont know whats up???:confused:

Gave this a go and the only thing i didnt have set this way was the throttle and the brake pwm and the punch was at 5%. I am confused, i couldnt run more than 3 mins and the temps went straight to 200*F. I am really good at soldering, use flux and the joints look really clean but could this be the problem? Why is the motor temp so low (140 on lrp when the esc was 200) I havent had much luck with this thing and i am wondering if something is just damn wrong with THIS one.
Please help, my 4x4 is running so good, i NEED to whoop some a$$ soon or i will cry!!!

Eben Coetzee won 3rd round National Champs in 2wd stock with TQ midmount powered by Viper VTX10 speedo and 17.5t motor this past weekend.

Unfortunately picked op problem with 4wd mod in which we had a 5.5t Viper motor and speedo. Broke the pinion shaft just above the rotor, moved the pinion forward and fried the spur. Motor basically new and can find no indication why this happened.

But overall we are very impressed with Vipers and being an unknown product in SA getting much attention especially being able to show results.

Are there any hobby shops in Florida (Orlando area) selling Viper RC products? Headed to Florida for vacation tomorrow morning with my family and wanted to pick up 13.5 combo while Im there!
