Any news on the sale of Xtreme stock?

yeah I'm over waiting... not even excited anymore :o

I have been told by the supplier that I should have stock of these next week :D:D:D

I try to download it but somehow I can't. Why is that? Its the - USB link software (10/6/8) right? At the moment I only have the FW518 in the USB link V1.62.

I downloaded this one a few days ago. It installs HW USB Link 1.62 on my desktop, then when connecting the Xerun 60A it will give me the option of V2.0_100528_MOD for my 6.5T motor, among others.
I reverted back to v2.0_100518Stock for my 13.5T motor...
Database version is 1.75.

The options therein are maybe 7 or 8, if I recall... Among then there's 422, stock with no timing, the "old" 205g, etc...

Edit: I redownloaded it right now, and installed it over my "old" 1.62 and it still is the same. Exactly.

iam having trouble finding/downloading the stock software can any one help I have clicked the links and error 404 comes up

Hobbywing website is down at teh moment.

Here is a linky to 1.62, it should be good for you, it will update to 1.63 as soon as the HW site is up and running but apart from 528MOD it is the same as 1.63.

Has anyone got a set up for the X12 10.5 in a TC,

I finally got to run my 120a v2.1 today in race conditions. Another guy was running same duo 1, 17.5 with 0 degree timing hole but he had version 518 and i was running 422. There was a noticable difference between these 2 profiles as He was running item 4 - ddrs at 1 and mine at 9 and we had similar kinds of speed. If i put mine down to 1 it would just be slow and gutless where as if he run it on 9 it would have uncontrollable wheelspin and didnt dare run it for a heat which i didnt blame him. Cant figure out how 2 settings can be so different but yield the same result. Every other setting we were running identical except turbo delay and i played with start rpms a little. I only got 4 runs but found the car to be extremely quick and ate my rivals Sp v3 Rs v203 combo. I think it have it over timed as the car was ballistic for around 2 minutes and then it seemed to taper off and i could drive it near full throttle everywhere. Temps were only around 65c all day so I still and want to play with dropping turbo and boost timing and a much lower gearing as i dont want to start messing with motor timing with the inflexible duo1 system.

I believe 422 has a known issue where performance falls flat on its arse if DDRS is 6 or below. I have been running 422 with a 5.5 (mild setting of course), and when I dropped my DDRS from 7 to 6, it was about as slow as a 17.5!!! :lol:

Has any one got a starting point and fdr for 528 mod with a 7.5 lrp with 2 dot timing block on a long outdoor asphalt track with +- 60 m straight

Hey Angelo, no disrespect meant but that is my personal account, and I have been hosting stuff on there, for Hobbywing racers, for a lot longer than you have been around here acting as a tech support. The guys had been asking for days and had no replies from you guys so cut us some slack and stop trying to scare people into contacting you direct. I know you want to sell speedos etc but up here in the Northern extremities we tend to help each other out where needed. We were offering 'technical' support back when HW were being laughed about in the racing community. So come on chill out....

To all, my files are DL'd direct from HW and stored on my VIRUS FREE machine and are checked PRIOR to upload, I have over 2000 downloads from satisfied 'friends' so go get them and use them if you need them safe in the knowledge that we in the community only have YOUR interests at heart and have no secondary motives.
