yes true it will go sensorless after excessive timing is used .it is for protection of the esc which cuts out the boost timing .

how do you know if you've used too much timing? this has happened to me before but the motor temp was cool @ 125F. the esc was pretty cool too.

From what i know all the new products will be controlled on the market so there will be no under cutting .Hobbywing is building a big reputation now and a good one i hope that they will terminate anyone who undercuts especially online stores .Undercutting affects the whole world and devalues a products reputation and brand name .

Yes but i promise you it wont happen that way it will be competative but not the way hong kong and so on do it like $5.00 above wholesale cost and makes the rest on the freight then the stores and distributors around the world wont support the products they are finding it out now with the worlds biggest market the usa not supporting .

pricing wont change but it will be controlled so everyone around the world can be competative .Business works this way if ten companies are giving you 50k a year each but doing the wrong thing but 4000 companies are willing to support you and give you 10k a year each if you only controlled pricing and the products which would you prefer ?of course the later right and dump the ten ?

Your theory is sound if a little naive.

Chinese manufacturing is all about units, the distribution channels are almost irrelevant. Indeed it is more cost effective (if not necessarily wisest) to ship larger consignments to fewer distributors. They are not overly concerned about retail margins.

This is the business model that has worked for HW so far so it will be interesting to see if they do as you suggest.

Time will tell.
