Was there an older version of the M11x FHSS-3? Reason I ask, on Tower's website, they have the receiver's nominal input voltage listed at 4.8-6.0v under their item description. They even advise to use a bec or esc to regulate 2s lipos to 6v.

Maybe they used the M11's tech notes by accident?

The first versions of the M11x came with a reciever only rated for 6.0v. The new ones i'm pretty sure come with the 451 receiver and will handle more power

I just received my new M11x in the mail yesterday. So nice and packed with features! My last controller was an Airtronics CS2P from the early 90's. So much has changed. No more buying a separate controller for each car.

Hi everyone,

I want to ask about benefits of the 451r servo.

I will use Nitro and electric onroad, both 6v to the receiver. I will be using Savöx brand digital servo on both cars.

In this case, any advantage/response time difference with 451R over standart 451, or everything is just the same? And will there be any DISADVANTAGE when using 451R receiver?

Thanks

same as the 451
for the 451r you need sanwa shr servo to use the shr mode!!

Thanks, I wont pay extra money for 451r then.

the SHR mode on the M11x is for digital servos, SHR mode uses faster frame rate than NOR mode better suited for digital servos...

if you want even faster responses, then use 451R receiver coupled with Sanwa/Airtronics SRG Super Response servos...

So i borrowed a buddies M8 until i can get the cash together for a M11X. Never used either. How would you compare the 2? Tired of the cheap feel of my DX3S and it was glitching like crazy last week.

i must say the fail safe does work like a charm

i was at race this last weekend and i felt the radio buss as i was flying over jump and when i landed the truggy came a stop i though a stone stop it but the truggy was still running

Quick question here... I am currently using the MX3-FG which uses the common receiver as the M11x. My question is can you give me reason's why the upgrade to the M11x is worth it? What am I going to gain by upgrading? THanks in advance for any and all reason's... I just ask cuz I havent had the chance to use one...

killermmn 07-19-2010 09:47 PM

the fhss 3 is faster, alot of option in the m11x!!!

Hi guys,

How is the M11 compared to the M11x? What are the advantages of the M11x?
I can buy a M11 for 185euro with 3S 3000mah lipo. The M11x is 400euro here... That's a huge difference for my wallet... I have a dx3s now but I don't like it that much for racing.

I hope someone can help me with this I am getting ready to buy a new M11X and will be running 1 cell pan cars and am using a Epic LiFe reciver pack what channel do I plug it into I just want to cover my butt and not blow up my reciver.
