How do I go about assigning the aux 1 channel to a SW key? Thanks for any help
|
Hello,
I just purchased a M11x second-hand and was wondering...is there anyway I can clear out all of the settings from the previous user/reset it back to the default settings? Thanks! |
I didn't find anything in the manual for a complete factory reset although holding down the "inc" and "dec" buttons will reset the particular setting you've chosen.

You can go to an unused model number, and copy it to the model number you want to reset. That puts all the settings back to default I believe. As long as you haven't messed with all 30 model memories...

^I think that'll work too.
Would anybody care to explain the slave and master modes in the model memory? |
Can any tell me why my mx11 won't let me scroll thru model list? Receivers bind fine for model 01. But when I try to scroll to model 02 to bind second receiver system won't let me. Says. "For display only".
Ive read the manual on model select. Won't let me scroll to model 3,4..etc. I've managed to copy model 01 to 02. But it still won't let me switch between the 2. Soo frustrating. Brand new M11x..what am I missing here..thanks for any help |

^^Exactly..this prevents you from accidentally switching models while the remote is transmitting a signal which could cause you vehicle to go nuts.

The slide button to the left of the wheel is the display button. It's clearly labeled "display". Slide the display button with the tx OFF. The tx turns on in display mode. Change your model, slide display to turn off, or just turn on the full power switch and you're good to go.
Much thanks. |

thank you. Ahh man. Duh. When the screen was saying display mode only. Never hit me that you HAD to turn it on that way. Thought it meant demo mode or something.
Much thanks. Would have been rather helpful had Sanwa actually let the user know exactly which functions can only be accessed or altered while the TX is actually in Display Mode. But a quick email to Airtronics support had me all sorted out in no time.:) And they too hate the fact that the instruction manual doesn't actually provide ALL of the instructions or information about how to use every single feature on the radio.:flaming: Oh well... Still love it and wouldn't swap my M11x for any other radio though.:D |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who got a bit confused by this...:lol: When I first bought my M11x a few years back, I actually thought it was broken or had some sort of malfunction coz various features and functions simply wouldn't work or allow me to change their options, constantly coming up with that absolutely moronic message, "Display mode only!". Would it have be so incredibly difficult for them to make the error message read "This function can only be changed while in Display Mode" or something along those lines?? Nah, that would be too simple, logical and easy to understand. So I read the instruction manual from cover to cover several times and couldn't find a single word about this 'error' message, nor anywhere in the manual where it actually states that some functions can only be either accessed or changed while in Display Mode.:weird::(

And of course it's sat..I called. Closed for tech support. I do feel better now that I know someone else went through this. Lol. Really appreciate all the help.. |
I read the manual thrice and finally figured it out.
The manual is quite vague but the radio is awesome! The feel and precision are unparalleled. |
