The steering wheel on my m11x is binding up and wont center properly. Do i need to send it in for service or is this something i can fix myself?

If you're comfortable with taking it apart, try cleaning out the bearings in the steering assembly.

Do you happen to have a tutorial or a video on how to disassemble it? Thanks.

No, i'm afraid not. I actually don't own an M11x, but I've done it with other radios.

Might be posting this in the wrong section but its M11X related so here goes nothing.....

This past weekend I started having issues with my SC10RS motor almost acting like its glitching. It like stutters and tries to spin but wont do it. So I borrowed a whole new ESC motor from a friend to try and keep running the rest of the day. Plug it all in and same thing!!! Tries to spin but just wont do it. I pulled the trans apart and checked for binding and found nothing. trans and diff were smooth and problem free. So I got thinking, I plugged in both my ESC and the borrowed ESC into my receiver and got the same result so could the problem be something in my receiver? I'm running the 4 channel that comes with the M11X and never had an issue before but its possible I guess, right? I tried re-binding it and everything but it still does the same thing.

Has anybody had any issues with their receivers? Mine is only about 3 months old.

holy cow, i had a heart attack when i saw all the pieces layed out on the towel. i'd love my radio to look like that but i'd be terrified about putting it all back together.

If your ESC can run sensorless, try doing that. Your sensor board might be faulty.

It is still the stock sensorless system that came in the truck

Did you try a known good motor?

Are your ESC wires free and not damaged?

If a known good motor doesn't work, I'd change the Rx too. Before the whole excercise, I'd also re-bind and re-calibrate despite the possibility that it won't help.

Assigning a switch for a killswitch

Hi guys, I recently bought the M11x radio, the small issue I have is I am trying to get the killswitch on my Losi5 to activate, as I need this to start the engine, I have read thru the manual on radio, and is says that I have to activate a 4th channel on radio, then nominate a switch to activate the killswitch? can anyone confirm this, also does it matter which auxilary channel the wires from killswitch go into?

just after some tips/info on this, or I may have to read the manual a 3rd time...

I just ordered a new M11X and was wondering whether using the RX-471 receiver with it allows use of SSR mode? Could I use SSR mode on the throttle channel, given that I'm running a Hobbywing V3.1 esc, or can you only use this with the Sanwa esc?

Rx-471 is fhss-4 and does not work with the m11x. You need the fhss-3 92451 receiver if you want ssr.

Anyone know where I can get the cover that goes over the screen? I've seemed to have lost mine. Thanks
