I read the manual thrice and finally figured it out.
The manual is quite vague but the radio is awesome! The feel and precision are unparalleled. There doesn't seem to be a single word about the "Display Only!" error message anywhere in the manual, so please explain how exactly you figured this out by re-reading the manual thrice. Just curious is all. |
It doesn't have a concise table or page where display only functions are mentioned.
I don't remember where I found it and I couldn't find it with a quick run through the manual right now. That's weird. :weird: I'll download the PDF manual and use the search to find the mention. If it's not there, I probably mixed it up with what I read on this thread. If so, I'm sorry. |

I have a problem with two of my four receivers.
I can't bind both with my M11X, the leds blinks weird. The receivers were used in my Mugen MBX offroad. I have another two that work fine, so I think the TX is ok You can see how it goes here:

I'm sure it would work, but if you want the correct antenna, I got you the link below.

While setting the failsafe for an electric car, should the Rx be powered or can I do it on the Tx itself? From a standstill, the motor goes into reverse on hitting the brakes. I set the FS to neutral(-1%). I gave the motor a bit of throttle and turned the Tx off to simulate signal loss. The motor didn't go crazy. The motor is not in the car yet. Should I check once with it in the car or is it safe to say that failsafe has been set?
Also, in the unlikely event of a brownout, what will happen? |
Shouldn't need to setup the failsafe for an electric car. Only for nitro.
|
That's true but I wanted it set in case the Tx is shut off by mistake or signal is lost for any reason. I was plugging my ESC into the Rx451 and I didn't have it plugged all the way in and didn't realize it. I turned it on to calibrate it and the motor went crazy. I just want some insurance in the event that something goes wrong.
I found the Rx minimum voltage setting that'll kick in incase of a brown out. |
Sold my DX3R Pro and bought a slightly used M11X. The price was right and it came with 3 receivers. My first impression, the weight without a lipo is heavy, especially compared to the spektrum. Spektrum is like a toy but performed as good if not better than most radios.
The weight is perfect for me and I like the size of it since my hands are bigger than most people's. haven't got to use it yet but can't wait. How do I raise it up? I don't want to change where the switch for dual rate, but its kind of hard to get to. I've read that I can raise it up so I can get to that switch easier, maybe I read wrong. Would've went with the M12 but sold my spkteum for $240 and paid $200 for this radio with 3 receivers, and sold 2 of them for $100 so I got a good deal |
If you got the manual, the steps to raise it are on the driving adjustments pages.
IIRC, it takes the removal of 2-4 screws to do it. |
Has anybody had a squeaky sound coming from the throttle spring? It sounds metallic. The radio has never seen any dust but has a good bit of use on it.(I bought it new but I use it a lot with VRC Pro)
Is this normal or should I be worried? |
Normal wear and tear.
|
Thanks for clearing it up. :)
