He is talking about a battery that would be installed on an integrated circuit board "inside" the radio...
I doubt this is the case. But it would be interesting to find out for sure. Have you had it near any large magnets? Microwave maybe? As a matter of fact yes I did have it near my microwave before going to the track a few days earlier. |

test
I did a test. set up radio. all good, turned on solder station with battery out of transmitter. soldered up motor I just got back from service. had radio siting on table 1 1/2 feet away. got done soldering and plugged in radio lipo. turned on transmitter checked steering end points and they were off.. re did end points all ok. un-pluged lipo. checked again end points were off. I think when you un plug radio and let it set for a day or to the battery capacitors in the radio loose charge and your loose some end point and throttle break setting.. none on the binding changed. just the end points. I dont think there is a battery in there nothing in the manual, I am not going to turn on the micro wave and do a test.. I cant afford to buy another radio. most microwaves are sealed. but I ain't going there.,.. LOL it could be the soldering iron. or just like he ^^^^ said . next I'm setting it all up leaving lipo in for a week then check end points again.. will post findings when I'm done,,.. also If you what to de gauze the tv screen after you have burned in a game playing it for a week and have images you can turn on you soldering iron and pass it buy the screen and watch it go blank then return to better condition. so did you solder next to your radio ?

According to the manual model settings are stored in EEPROM. That type of memory requires no power to store data, battery is only reqired to change the settings.

RX-451R error codes?
Anybody know what it means when the a blue & red solid light shows on the RX-451R receiver?
My car simply kept stopping on the track today after 2 mins of running, the receiver had a solid blue & red light. The manual doesn't seem to inform us of the color codes.... Appreciate any assistance Thanks! |
I'am having a delayed response time with my M11x at about the 100ft.Anyone ever had this? I have had it for three years. I wonder if its time for a new one?

I had a issue yesterday during my main. My truggy was running fine and then all of a sudden it went erratic. Throttle hung about half way open and I had no control of steering, waited about 5 seconds and it came back, made half a lap and it hung again running off the track and hitting a bystander. We finally got it shut off and after that it was working fine so I fired it back up and it happened again, no control of throttle or steering and both were erratic.
My M11X is about 2 months old as well as the receiver. What could be the cause and where do I start looking? Is it the receiver? Battery on both the truck and radio were topped off before the race and I checked both after my problems and they were both good. Thanks |
Just wonder how are you guys set up radio.
Here is mine. Thanks in advance for sharing your setup idea! Car: 1/10 TC 17.5 Stock / TekinRS with TP 3= Liner Radio: M11x Steering exp: -25 ARC: -15 @ 25point Speed: -10 fwd@30% / 0 rwd Throttle exp: +25 ARC: +35@27point |
Hey I am having trouble with my radio and not really sure what to do hopefully someone here will have some advice.
I have had with multiple cars now my radio lose signal and go into some sort of fail safe mode where the wheels are turned all the way and the throttle blips on and off 1 to 2 seconds each repeatedly... Odd thing is my fail safe is actually just everything neutral and straight? I have no idea why I am losing signal but this has happened with multiple receivers so it has to be something with the transmitter. This is very intermittent and is not something I can easily recreate but it happened to me at the start of a main for my last race and I am really getting frustrated... is there anything I can do other then send my radio in? Has anyone seen something like this before? |
Does anyone know how to turn off display mode, when I go into MODEL after turning on the main power switch, I try to change between MO1 and MO2 with either of the INC+ or DEC- keys it say "display mode only".
How do I shut this off so I can change between my models?? Any help appreciated. |
u need to turn display mode on to change models
there's a slider switch above the wheel that says display. turn the radio off then turn display mode on. change to your model and then turn the radio on. |
