I am having trouble using my radio with my 12th scale... Please read all of this because this is not intended to bash I am looking for a solution.

I am not as smooth with this radio as I was with my dx3r pro. I have been trying different methods and have found that different ways I setup the radio change the feel of the steering...

One possible solution oob endpoints start at 100 should this be maxed to 150 and then bring my dual rate down?

Second I could set dualrate to 140 and then set the endpoints as needed?

Or should I leave the dualrate and endpoints at 100 and set the endpoints as needed...

Obviously with all of these I am bringing my dual rate down after setting the max throw in 12th scale.

How do I set this radio up for the most linear and smooth steering response? I love my radio and it has worked great for me in offroad I just seem to struggle with it in onroad and believe I could be setting it up wrong or may be missing something.

Thanks!

Hey all

what's the least expensive rx (sanwa or el-cheapo) that will function "properly" (I don't mind a slightly less blazing reaction time) with the M11X please?

thank you,
Paul

This one will work!

My m11x seems to love eating batterys. they only last a race day.

Should i try recharge able batterys? Or upgrade to the m12?

What happen to your nimh that came with the radio? If you don't have one you can buy one, or get a 2s lipo for it. $30 or so and you'll have great battery life. No need to get an m12 if there's nothing wrong with the radio's performance.

which servo is the latest and greatest, 94930 or 94950? this will be replacing my nearly 3 year old futaba bls451! the 451 has been great, but after driving a b4 that was running a ssr servo(not sure which one though)and super response receiver, it was enough to spoil me into wanting nothing less!!

The 94930 is brushless whereas the 94950 is just coreless.

I have a extra 94930 and SSR receiver if you are interested just PM me.

I have been very happy with my M11X for more than two years, but two days ago, the lever for centering the steering wheel broke. Has anyone else ever experienced something like that? I don't think it's repairable, so i will have to buy a new radio. I'm indeed very frustrated :flaming:

I'd also like to get an answer to this problem, if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it. On my 12th scale pan car the steering is NOT smooth. I've set my EPA, expo, dual rate and can't get a smooth steering. The car seems to lock up a bit and it's not the car, tried it with other radios. My friends MT-4 works fine.

Any suggestions?
