Love being able to see my motor temp/rpm/battery voltage from my 10px I’m running the hobbywing xr10 g2s esc with the futaba s bus telemetry adaptor but I seem to not get motor temp readings on my reedy motors but it works fine on my r1 wurks motors. Anyone else running this setup?

I also contacted Futaba service and they said, that clocks in these radios were never accurate, but 7,5 minutes per month is alot and they never heard of it beeing that much off.
Solution would be to replace the PCB.
I'm really angry, since I wanted to return the radio to the seller, but the seller refused to take it back after little over 1 month, since their return policy was 14 days.
And the radios is brand new, never used, since it's winter now.

OK, so I made another test and found out, that the clock runs exactly 15 seconds ahead in 24 hours, which means 1 minute every 4 days which brings it to 15minutes every 2 months.

I doubt that. The clock is a hardware thing running on a 32.768khz crystal. Or they use the one in the microprocessor (most have a time clock inside) or they use an external chip like a most used Dallas type chip. From my experience it can be a bad crystal.

Did anyone noticed dead pixels on the screen?
I noticed 4 in random places and near the edge on the left side of the screen, there are probably more then 10 sticking together.
You don't see them straight away, but once you do, they become bothersome.
I noticed them, when I did the display touch calibration, where the screen goes black, but now I can even see them on my home screen or any other screen/view.

Not my day!
Since fitting the screen protector I’ve notice the touch screen sensitivity greatly reduced, also noted the calibration was a little off to the left.
In hindsight I should of adjusted sensitivity first but I went in to screen calibration, the centre crosshairs came up and no matter what I did I just wouldn’t register touch.
Came out back to Home Screen and now the ‘Menu’ and ‘User menu’ can’t be activated!!
Its clear it’s been calibrated around 1cm below so now I’ve ran out of screen to access these functions.
Menu functions aren’t accessible via the buttons and a reset also requires these buttons to be functional.
Guess a trip to Futaba is the only option I guess they could reload the base software 🤷🏼♂️
What’s most annoying is I copied over all of my settings and reset my 7pxr 🤬

Looking into switching from Sanwa M12 to the Futaba T10PX.
Was wondering if you can setup a countdown timer the same like on the Sanwa:
i use a down timer for 5 minutes in the race, i assign a switch that sets the timer into standby and then when i hit the throttle it starts counting down.
So when the race starts, the timer starts as soon as i hit the throttle.
Is it possible to set it up like this on the Futaba so that you only have to hit 1 switch to activate this or do you need to go to the timer screen every time to put the trigger activation on ready as is seen in the manual ?

Decided to pull the trigger on a new radio. Making the switch from Sanwa M17 to the Futaba 10PX. My son will take the M17 as an upgrade to his MT5 with replacing our spare Spektrum (the real reason for the new radio purchase).
I’m curious about the ergonomics of the 10PX. What / Why / How do I know when the drop down and angle adapter make sense to use? Are there advantages like in game controllers (where taller sticks make you more accurate)? Or are drop down and angle purely comfort and personal preference?
Thanks in advance.

It is all personal preference to suit your ergonomic needs. Ever since I went to a drop-down, it is how I now setup all my new radios. Same with a tight or loose trigger gap, etc. You will have to play around and find what feels best for you, everyone is different.
