New radio announcement but I’m more excited about those receivers! Both look way smaller than the usual matchbox-sized offerings from Futaba. I’ll be keen to try this one.

But why 10 channels?

At this point they seem to be using it like a version number.

Lol. Just bought a 7pxr. Not upgrading.

Looks like it has similar footprint to the Sanwa RX482 receiver which is a welcome change. Sometimes I wish for a bit more clearance especially on mid motor touring cars recently.

Crawlers can use a lot of channels, and some people do crawling and racing, myself included. Figure 2 steering servos, DIG, 2 winches and whatever lights are on remote switches. I bought a DX5C though instead of upgrading from a 4PX to a 7PX, in part because it's much cheaper to replace if it gets dropped in the woods. The 7PX only allowed using all 7 channels in a certain mode which also had no telemetry and a slower response rate.

Because they can? You know the 7PX has 7 but only in S-FHSS mode? Which racer is running S-FHSS?
In T-FHSS you have 4 channels.

I am ok with the radio. I love all the extra buttons and switches. that is what I am excited about.

I’m not sure you understand how the world works. Products only change when faults are exposed. The world doesn’t need any more participation awards.

I like the normal screen orientation. Besides, you have no idea if it can be rotated.
