That was my thinking before I bought it. The truth is the MasMo cost the same as any other top or moded motor and with its longer lifespan and increased reliability it will probably be cheaper in the long run than any of the good $200 motors.

BTW I have an LL3 Tuned for sale, pm if interested.

Mark

Reducing it to 5.4mm will give you more runtime

Anyone have a piston/sleeve Set for the Novarossi TOP PT21 SP1 circuit motor? I don't have the tool to pinch the .21 engine only .12s.

lol No it's this one.

I did a search with the number engraved on the engine and it cannot be found. I did find something on that Fusion site, but don't have an accurate pricing. I'd probably just get a new .21 cheap for next yr barely used.

any recommendation?
LL5 is good enough for our home track. You need to use 20T brake and rear side pulleys with LL5.

do you run 20 - 20 brake and rear side pulleys? smaller ratio?
i think someone mention 26 front outside gear, only for overdrive because the ratio is about right for JITC.

HarKonnenD - Give Jim Hottinger a call, his website is a little outdated. He should be ablle to tell you what engine and whether or not he can get those parts for you. Oh btw, Fusion Motorsports is the Novarossi distributer for the US. And sweet looking car .
