Are pipe changes going to need to be made going from the 3 port to 5 port if I rebuild my OS VZ with 5 port. Don't want to have to spend anymore money on a new pipe.

Also looking at purchasing new GTR engine. Specifies 8/9mm carb. Will the carb take os venuri's or other so I can choke it down to 6.5?

The GTR comes with a 7 and 6.5mm reducer.

The OS 2060 pipe works good on both the 3 and 5 port engine.

I have an ofna 086 that works great on my vzb speed right now and that combo only cost $46. So, I guess it should work with the 5 port too.

The lastest GTR plus 5 ports engine seems to have more power in all area.
Efficiency is definitely better with a OS 2060 pipe......almost 1 min+ better than the previous V3 version.

Tuning is same with previous.....it is important to open up the Mid speed needle about 1.5-2 turns out from flush position. Mine would sit at 2 o'clock but some said it would be better at 10 o'clock.......just individual preference.

The ARROW pipe..........I haven't got chance to try the pipe out 100% due to my work.........but some dude did. Power is definitely better in all areas compared to the OS 2060.......but they did mentioned more thirstier than the OS pipe, maybe 10 mins max......I got more with the OS pipe.......however all this fuel consumption would depends on the track you are running and how you drive.

Let me try the pipe more.....but with 25% instead of 30% which I am using now.....and will give a feedback here......

The build of the Arrow pipe is very strong.......very thick material and I am sure it will last and wouldn't be dented easily......

Wow that pipe is a fatty. Can you take a picture of it side by side with the 2060 you have so we can compare?

I know there are already V3 abd V4 (21GTR PLUS) version but I broke in a V2 version with a Buku clutch and HN 2062 pipe.
After 8 tanks of fuel it was ready to rock and got 9 minuites on a small European style astro turf track. Bottom to top as smooth as can be.
Buku clutch with aramide shoes (medium weigth) as a drop in set from the factory with no changes.
All functioned well during the first competition.
Let you guys know the rest in a review at TEAM TWf8 soon.

Well I finally ran my new GTR plus last Saturday at our 2nd series race. Still running a rich tune as this is the first race on it. Engine was great, our track is around 180' x 225' with big air and rythem sections as well as a long front straight. It stayed around 215-225 degrees all day and I was able to TQ all 3 rounds. By the main the weather was a little cooler but didn't change the tune at all. 20 minutes in and a lap on the field my steering servo horn screw came out and lost steering. After a quick fix I had 8 minutes left and I dogged it hard the entire time trying to catch back up, it took every bit and came in damn near empty at 241. If this is any indication of how this engine is going to be I'm more than happy.

Also I was running the 7 restrictor and a werks 2013 pipe, pitting between 7:30 and 8 min on a rich tune.

Anyway....crd.....get a PLUS..

It runs faster, cooler and longer fuel times compare to the previous "V" version

We had a shock when we ran it. For a engine with simple design, no mod, no filled crank, no balance crank and at this price.

You too will be shock and smitten with it.

Did someone have a cracked crankcase? It happened to me yesterday, and it happened to another guy who races at our track. Still was running rich tune at close to two gallons.

Just wondering if getting a new crankcase is worth it.
Really liked it when it was running though.

Yes it will work but you need the backplate also.

I raced my "Arrow GTR in a Ninja casing with OS carb" this weekend, quite pleased.
