Has anyone tried a P5xlt with a Losi Re-11 pipe? If so, how was it?

Well one of my local racers had me modify his Nova Plus 4....... Initially we fired it up and it was acting lean..so we richened it up, however we shortly realized the carb cinch bolt had not been tightened..LOL>..Anyways after tightening the cinch bolt we found the tune was way too rich.......Regardless of being too rich and cold the engine performed excellent....Here is the first run of the Clocked Plus 4, running at only 180 degrees....
i will add that the all white buggy is a Losi 4S BL setup and the black and yellow is a Clocked B6 |

I did and thought it was horrible. I liked the 9853ss pipe the best.

i just picked up a p5 for my serpent truggy and i have a few questions.
1. the manuel isn't too clear on a break in method. i was wondering how others were breaking them in? 2. the manuel say to use 25% nitro. is it ok to run 30%? 3. i have either a jp3 or a dyn053 pipe. these are the pipes i have at the moment to run, which would be a better choice? |

i guess i will replace the front bearing after break in?
i really wish they would ditch that bearing that they put in the p5xlt entirely , it is not good , the ONLY downfall to that engine but easily remedied , i pretty much do that on every p5xlt i sell :) |

Nitrotec
Evening guys. I'm running the Nitrotec in an rc8b. Probably not completely broken in yet (a little less than 1 gal). I'm having an issue with a soggy midrange. If I nail it from a stop, it pulls clean, and revs out good. But if I'm rolling on the throttle, like coming out of a sweeper, onto the straight, it sounds really rich, and doesn't RPM well. Low end doesn't seem too rich. If I pinch the fuel line it revs up and wants to stall in about 3 seconds. Again, if I pin it from a stop, everything seems great, it's only when I'm already slightly on throttle and the go to full throttle, sounds blubbery. Temps are around 250 after 10 minutes, smokes a little, but not excessive. Been running Trinity 30%and the Nova #6 plug it came with. Any thoughts? Thanks!
