Thanks for the input. I've heard good things about the 2013, may be my next investment (investment?). Is this the BEST choice for this engine in a buggy?
Im thinking 2096ss is another KILLER option  |

Hey, Houston
I have a Nova P3XS and was reading about the front bearing in the P5 being no good. The P3XS has the same front bearing, would you also recommend changing it to the #17011 front bearing. Cheers |

hate to say it but the re11 is not that good on novarossi engines ;)
many guys have been using the orion 2013 on the nitrotec with great success , the same pipes that are recommended for novarossi engines would be the same for the (novarossi 3 port) nitrotec |

Trust me I wish the bearing was not used :( |
Do you have to worry about that same front bearing issue in the FMS?

Hey guys, got a question.
I run an FMS in my 1/8 Late Model. Its just mental fast, sounds crazy, love it. (Brought it from a seller on here and have no complaints at all.) One thing I notice is if it idles, it seems to load up, and when i get on the gas it will splutter and stall if I don't get on the gas pretty hard to clear it out. Doesn't take alot of time to load up either. This past weekend, I ran maybe 7-8 warm up laps (after pre-heating the motor with a comp heater in the pits). Pulled over to be top'd up; Pit guy was holding it up, and I was revving it to not load it up, and when the race started, I squeezed harder on the gas and it "popped" and flamed out. Any ideas why this happened and if could be avoided in the future ? Thanks in advance. |
