Just wondering, i think im gonna have to start looking at a new engine soon and im going to get a Nova.

I was wondering, i dont want a Plus 4, but i dont know whether to get a P5 or Toro Nero. Im Heading towards the Toro but i thought i would ask.

It for the Buggy too.

Thanks! ;)

Both engines are great, but it depends on your driving style and the tracks you race on....

Toro- Smooth torque that keeps on pulling to a really high top speed....Suprisingly good fuel mileage. Gret on smooth flowing larger tracks.. 7 port motor. Great on slippery tracks....or hard clay tracks....

P5- Lots of off the line punch that tops out sooner than the toro, really sweet on most small to medium tracks....5 port...Great on high bite damp loamy tracks.

my two recommendations for the toro would be odonnell 87t and 99t

i am still testing the newer nova plugs and so far the c6tgh and c5tgh have been pretty good and show no signs of the ways of the old plugs :D

what are the overall gains of using a stuffed vs a non stuff crank? combined with port modifications when it better to have the stuffed crank? with the advanced timing that most modders preform what is the reason to not add the stuffed crank when the initial modding is done?

Ahh k, thanks mate. I just found the FMS, how is that? Is it better then the Toro? I might put that into consideration too.

My buddy has a couple of them for his truggy. It has more torque with the same top end compared to the Toro. Honestly it would be super in the buggy with power everywhere. The only thing is it might be too much on a slippery track. It was designed for buggy but most people use it in truggy. Tough call. All three of those engines are awesome.

P5 torque mid
Toro mid top
FMS torque mid top

The team edition has a few upgrades. I think the differences are the Team has a ceramic bearing ect. Anwyays, here are some links so you can compare the 2 :).
