Tko ceramics for 4btt engine

Can anyone help me with TKO ceramic bearings part number:
1.front 7x19x6 (nova 17011 copy if have)
2. Rear 14x25.4x6

TKO-CB-MR25414 is the rear bearing, pretty sure they only make a standard 7x19x6 front however. Nova is the only company that makes the double front shield as far as I'm aware.

The Nova 17011 is a patented size at (6.3mm) thickness.

It also is still the best double lip seal on the market.

Still fighting with the p5. Tried flush on ls and slowly working my way in, but still boggy out of corners, and standing start. Mid to high end is great.smoke and temp. Was good but took almost 10ft after to become responsive to throttle.

The high speed needle is 3.5 turns and the low speed needle is 5 turns they are for the p5xlt and it might work for the rex 21

I know it can vary quite a bit from setup to setup, but with a race tuned p5 my lsn was always leaned out quite a bit, if you're counting turns usually about 4.25 to 4.75 turns out. Just keep in mind the lsn on novas can be pretty touchy. 1 hour adjustments are too much once you get the lsn tune in the ballpark. Once you get close you can fine tune with 15min adjustments (about 1/48th of a turn)

Thanks... went back to stock needle settings so about 5 out on ls.waiting on the rain to stop to start tuning again.engine was consistent until 2 or three weeks ago. I thought it was due to changing fuels but this one is not coming around.

Dont know if you have tried it, but in my experience Nova's benefit from sealing of the engine against air leaks. Tried it numerous times and seems to fix idle fluctuations etc assuming everything else is all good

Curious, is the compression good? Carb good? Seldom seen this case if both in good condition. Extreme front bearing leaking maybe?

what clutch are you using ?

jazjato 09-09-2016 07:44 AM

Using the stock z-car 3 shoe with gold Springs. Everything has been good.I thought it was from switching fuels, but the rex came around. The p5 just has not.not smooth or crisp.

She has a few gallons through her. I can roll the flywheel without having to grip it at all, but you can still feel compression at the top.I bought the mill in 09.ran it until 11.than ran it last year and this year.

It's probably just worn out. What is a few gallons?

jazjato 09-09-2016 11:07 AM

It's got to be pushing 6 to 7 gallons. Bought a replacement at the beginning of this summer. I am just surprised it keeps running, and with good mid and top end. It was crisp and smooth throughout one week and the next weekend super fussy.

Not sure how many remember power house mods but he did this engine in 09.
