If it flamed due to wear caused by dirt then it will be shagged. Remove psr and clean all parts then reassemble and if it fails the drop test you will need new bearings and psr or pinch. Drop test is where you hold the flywheel and if the the engine drop through tdc under it's own weight in less than 10 seconds it is too worn.

When u apply throttle the problem would go away n start high rev again after release throttle

LSN: 5 turns out from close
The carburetor is the 24069 type for the P5.
For factory settings look at the attached file.

Hey guys, some advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently running an old RB (nova-based) 3-port in my buggy. It's been very reliable but I'm looking to upgrade to something with more power. The prices on the new Nova-based engines are very good compared to a few years ago but I'm a little overwhelmed with the options. I'm looking at the 7-port engines and it's hard to discern their differences by the spec sheets.
Top Elite 8 Off --- (BS: 16,26x16,80 mm; MP: 36.800 RPM)
Rex Paloma Limited, gold head --- (BS: 15,88x17,60 mm; MP: 35.800 RPM)
Rex Paloma, blue head --- (BS: 15,88x17,60 mm; MP: 35.800 RPM)
Rex Legend 7 Off --- (BS: 15,88x17,60 mm; MP: 36.800 RPM)
Nova Vir-tus 21 Off --- (BS: 15,88x17,60 mm; MP: 37.200 RPM)
Nova Mito 7 Off --- (BS: 15,88x17,60 mm; MP: 37.500 RPM)
Nova Bonito --- (BS: 15,88x17,60 mm; MP: 36.300 RPM)
Is there anything I should know about these engines, or do I just choose the cheapest, or pick from a hat? Any of them have known issues or differences in powerband, reliability, etc.?

You can not go wrong with the Legend 7 from that list.

Novarossi does not do a good job giving explanation of their motors and applications for sure. You have to rely on this forum to help. I grabbed a Top Elite 8 but have yet to break it in.
The Rex Legend 7 another powerful one and I think the Mito 7 is probably a great motor, seems to have the latest technology advances from Novarossi.
