24063 is definitely a long needle, pretty much the same as the 24069 that's on the p5, 4btt, bonito, etc... except for some very minor differences in the carb body itself

It's easy to tell because even with a 8mm insert the needle is not quite fully out of the spray bar.

Even though long needles can be trickier to tune it's also what makes them so smooth from top to bottom and less likely to have a rich spot in the mid range like a short needle.

Yeah, I just looke at the 24063 again. Carb has to be almost fully open before needle pulls all the way out.

I don't think it's a 9901, looks like it's just a basic 2 chamber non-SS pipe

Just got some info that the 51019 is not a great pipe. Looks like the 9886 but not the same.

Is the only change for the P5XLT-16 only the new head? curious to know if there were perhaps any other small changes? Great motor, would gladly run another.

Different backplate, 3 needle carb, and silicone filled crank with a little bit more timing than the last p5xlt. Same p/s and pretty much everything else.

Thanks, that's good to know. I'm gonna have to give the new motor a shot, loved the old one!

Mito 4 i haven't tested but 4btt is good for buggy for small medium track. It lacks the top for a bigger track. 2096/41033 for 4btt

Given the price point is virtually identical I'd go for the Clio5 as it gets the lowCG head & nicer cnc/domed piston vs traditional microcast.
