Can someone tell me if the Clio P5 is worth the extra money over the Top Elite 5? Is the Clio that much better?

For $130 or whatever the Elite 5 dropped to, it's hard to beat. Especially when I'm almost sure they're the same motor.

Produce different power delivery, 7 use in 4port n 9 use in 5port but 7 is preferable for both

Dang that's dirt cheap, and free shipping. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, I can't see getting the Clio unless you really want a lcg head, or purple is your favorite color. Pretty much only difference is 15009t crank vs 15010 and the head button w/ o-ring. I could be wrong since I've never tried the Clio, but I'd bet you'd be hard pressed to tell any difference performance wise vs. the Top

The 15007t is also very similar to the 15010. Side by side I couldn't tell much difference except the 15007t has a little more polishing done to the inside of the barrel. I believe the timings are the pretty close if not the same as well.

I don't know the full story, but that motor evolved into the Keep-off series, and some say it was neutered when they went to the new bearings.

That said, the 4btta can still be found brand new around the web, and several people, including team drivers, swear by them.

Edit: Hint: Absolute hobbiez has them still IIRC

Yeah this hobby is way out of control, LOL

I think I spent over $5k getting back into it this year and I had a fair amount of stuff I kept that was in good order.
