Most all plugs have a fair amount of exotic metals
platinum and iridium being two of the elements

My old bonito piston got plenty scratches because I used an os plug, the under head get deform and the debris scratch allover it. Anything beside the piston sleeve still usable (I guess). And I have my 4btt. Just incase Can I use bonito crankshaft and conrod for btt system. I tried bonito underhead and it won't fit the btt and curious about the crank and the conrod
When I watch the main a world champ I saw robert going over 7-8 minutes pit strategy. As I know novarossi today has a great milage and it's easy for a hard finger driver to get 9 minutes fuel strategy. I'm guessing the 7-8 pit strategy was due to his gap over tessman is good enough for pitting early than needed. My guess maybe wrong anyone knows why battle team using that pit timing. I heard that drake even goes for 12 min but I'm not sure since I haven't see the video.

track conditions vary.. 7-8 is a very safe time to do fuel stops.. and these guys rather play it safe at this level.. the track wasn't the best for runtimes unless your tune was spot on.. Drake flamed out right as he was entering the pits just at the 10:15 mark.. so depends on track and circumstances...

ok so i should definately use nova plugs yeah? can i use the hotter plug of the novarossi turbo ones instead of the #6 conical turbo i think for some reason the hotter the better. and thinking using the nova number 5 hot plug with 30% nitro instead of the medium turbo #6
aparently the novarossi ultra plugs are better ones compared to the standard conical turbo's ment to be slightly hotter due to bigger hole opening in plug where element is to give a better longer idle etc. plus i think the ultra plugs have a coating on the element of some sort.

i only say this (i think a hotter plug is better) because in my experience with i was using o.s plugs in p3 or p4 very hot plugs and after using an alpha hot only plug in my alpha based mit engine then changing to a o.s p3 ultra hot the engine came to life with no flame outs. all on 30% nitro fuel.

Hi all,
Which combo of engine/pipe/manifold do you recommend to me?
I'm a very experienced electric driver, coming into the nitro world. I'm searching for something that is really smooth with a linear powercurve (if there is something like that).
Going to buy 2 MBX7 kits for it. Has anyone maybe a good clutch for me to recommend?
Thanks!

depends on the track and the driver....as well as the setup on the car.......on a high bite track where you need low end the 9901 works better....on a more open flowing track, or a track with a looser surface the 2096 works better..... the 9901 has more low end pop, the 2096 more high end....... on our track the BTT 9901/41001 was the best combo for most guys with the stock BTT... on the mod BTT we run the 9886

All right cool, I have been content with the OFNA 086 and 9886 but I think I will try a 2096 on the plus 4-btt and see what happens!
