Well, was hoping to hear something more along the lines that one of the pipes I already have would be good - no, not just good, but ideal.. I guess it is kind of dumb, since you - afaik - can generally assume that the 086 will work well on most NR and other big block engines. Was just surfing some sites looking at engines and saw the Roma, and wondered what pipe I would use. I used to have an 086 though, and tested it on a variety of engines - including a 528XR, and hated it. I recently got a new one though, and it has been awesome on my modded Picco. So IDK, I guess it's just not fixed in my head yet that the 086 is really good...

9886/41001 is the by far the best combo on the Roma for making power...

hope this helps
So whats the best combo for these engines on a mugen buggy?
P5
Cinco
Btt

I probably end up with a P5 for a practice engine and get a cinco or a btt for races. I got a werks b5 pro in my truggy and but I been having a lot of flameouts and carb issues...using a os carb on it now...So i'm trying novarossi

Thanks

peoples mind changes around here like they change their panties.. its gonna be the JP2 is the best pipe coupled with the werks conical header...

for racing my 2 cents.. i don't have the 2053 so no dice on that... 9886 lots of rpms which usually works for larger displacement engines because they dont really produce lots of RPM's.. not the case with the Roma... so while it sounds really god it didnt give me the race feel i wanted.. tried the 2084... no dice either.. although i would choose this over the 9886 because run times was better..

2096.. with all headers worked best FOR ME, in racing applications.. was able to squeeze out decent run times and still have nice smooth power through out the RPM range..

this was tested with all headers from Nova.. as i have them all... a complete day on all of them not a half gallon here or there.. i committed to running that pipe to get the best result.. just header changes were made...

my 2cents..
