I don't see Novarossi putting out a bad engine..... Unless somehow, he got a defective one, which must be rare, because its the first time I've heard of one.

I just had trouble with them personally. I'm not saying they are all bad, or anything other than I had trouble and I'm a pretty darn good tuner and experienced racer. I'll stick with my reliable p5 and plus-4.

Best of luck with the os. You do know that novarossi makes the best micromotors in the world right? To brake a piston leads me to believe mechanical falure do to outside stress (piston locking tool or not having the piston at tdc when removing or installing rear plate)

never heard of a 2 gallon old Novarossi breaking anything, unless the user did something to it. Doesnt the btt have the good team piston in it too? Only pistons i've broken were the cast pistons and the engines had a dozen or more gallons on them

I was also the first time I hear it, and just happened to my engine!

My Btt is just past 2 gallons and is still tight when cold and when up to temp is still hard to turn over when wearing gloves. Sorry to hear about the bad luck on your Nova, but what part of the piston broke?

Thank you! Is broke at the bottom (I put a photo), and the truth has much oxide with so few liters. Or is it normal that oxide?? Fuel use is the Byron 25/11, always consumption you fuel after using the engine, and put After-Run.
