Default Engines

Houston what kind of power to runtime can i exspect from a P5(T). I looking for a novarossi engine with Lots of power but Great runtime as well a easy 10min. I run a rb C6 now and love the power to runtime but its a little expinsive this year for me. I raced 1/10 gas for years so im very smooth on the throttle so the more power the better but it want hurt to be a little smooth. How the power to runtime on the Fms i hear its a power house ? Thanks for the info speedy

Thanks again.

My fault bucky, I thought you were referring to the extenders. They are listed on Novarossi's site also as reducers even though they are not and thats why I was thinking you were referring to them as alot of people have asked me about them. Sorry buddy!!

the best running combo we found was .85mm shimming with an odonnell 77t turbo plug ( use with part #28011 turbo underhead) , 9901 or 9853/41020 ( reducer on exhaust port) with 7.5mm venturi .

buggy? or truggy?

buggy - p5xlt , .80mm shim ( the newer p5xlt come shimmed at .80mm already) , 9886/41021 and 6.5-7mm restrictor will make great power and yield good runtimes . if you wanna focus on more runtime try a 9901ss/41005 setup if you want more torque and more runtime try the 9901ss or 9853ss/41021

truggy - p5xlt , .80mm shim (.75mm if more torque needed) , 9853ss/41005 , if you need extra extra punch use 41021 and 7-8mm restrictor depending

hope this helps you speedy,
monty

btw , the p5 is a great engine and mannnnyyyy engines are based off of the specs on this engine

Are you getting heat guns from the dollar store?? The heaters are only $65. Not sure what heat gun you are getting for $8 but it sounds like a scary device Hope someone has fire insurance when that $8 heat gun fires up. Does it spark and make shooting noises too? I might have seen one of those in the dollar bin at Valu

I think I paid like $25 for mine but it's nothing fancy. it does the job but I always seem to melt something or burn myself so I just keep it at home in a safe place where I can't hurt anything with it
