I was worried about this too, but 1.5 gallons later it's still running strong.

BC Ninja, it is possible that the rod might be fit but honestly I do not know. Frankly I've never taken apart a Sirio engine lol!

alexrckid, no worries. As I mentioned just runt he thing if you have any problems drop me a line. I stand behind the products that I make so I'll take care of you.

NitroAmmo, told ya! Still happy with the engine choice?

So far im happy with my B5, running a Werks 086 pipe, Byrons 20% in an
RC8B, getting about 8.5min of runtime on a big indoor track. Great bottom end and the midrange is sick!!! Had a fellow racer told me hes going to order one for himself this week.

Would like to try a 2035 pipe when the new one comes out and see if it smooths out the midrange power and improves the mileage.

thanks, ron......

Is a werks 086 similar to a dynamite 086?

Sweet, I've decided just to buy a B5 now as it will cost the same as rebuilding the sirio and I'm loving my B7, Im gonna save the rebuilding for my JP.

the werks 086 and the dynamite 086 are similar but werks 086 will have a little better performance than the dynamite.

Glad I chose this motor and so is he, it took some convincing to get him to try it but he is glad he did. Great product at a great price;)

Hey Roy, after seeing Bill break in his B5, I've decided to sell my Nova +4 to get this.

I'm pretty sure the Nova is a great engine and it has an awesome rep, so I'm not comparing these to each other, but more about the Werks was beyond effortless to break in and about $100 cheaper. So they are going in my buggy and truggy.

Longevity is another debate. The Nova will go 10+ gallons. I've seen them. This motor is too new to have stories like that. But even if it goes 5-8, screw it, I'll just go buy another at this price, break in real quick, fugetaboutit. Plus not go nuts trying to get that Nova up to proper break in (which I hear is beyond 1 gallon easy). David's is coming around, but crap, I don't have that much patience.

Anybody use JB weld to support the stinger on the 2057 pipe. That stinger has got to be the longest I've ever seen. Looking for a way to make it hold up.

Thanks H1....I have a dyn 086 and just bought a b5 nice to know it should work decent! I wonder for tight tracks if the dyn 053 would be a decent option? 871

i don't know about a 2058 in particular, but i used quick steel on my 2013. it's better than jb weld, and all you gotta do is cut a piece off and knead it. find it at auto zone, etc.

I just got my B5. Are you sealing the backplate and carb with anything? Slap it in and go? What.

Sealing will never hurt but its not something you must do with these mills.

From my experience, no need to seal.. Put the carb on it and go...
