Ive had the idle high-low thing happen too. It was my tuning. Its usually when i have the top a lil to lean and bottom a lil to rich.

Dont be scared to lean the bottom, on the B5.

Hi Werks.

We are going to have a B5 in a Losi truggy here in Denmark for the first time. He will race the national and a serie called Jyllands Cuppen.

They have put Boca ceramic bearings front and rear in it.

Should the B5 have enough buttom for a truggy?

I really look forward to see that engine irl

Cheers

I'm sure Ron will reply, but I can tell you it has more than enough nuts in truggy. Are you going to use the Werks 2013 pipe?

Hi.

It's not me who got it ;)

I'll let you know what pipe they will use

What header do you use for truggy?

Cheers

Mine seems to run well with the low needle 3/4 to 1 full turn in.

Soooooo I get my 2.0 all ready at lunch today to fire up my B5 for the first time to start break in.I got the motor pre heated with a heat gun.Tank is full off fuel and even primed the engine by blowing into the pressure line (figured it couldnt hurt).Set the truck down on the box.Everything is all good to go.Push down on to enguage the starter box and ZIIIIIIIIIIIING!!! there goes the belt on my nearly new Losi starter box!!!!! Thank you Losi for another superior product!! $85.00 starter box with a 2 cent plastic belt!!! And to top it all off the belts are not available until next month.I am ordering 2 belts off ebay that are better quality I am hoping, they have to come from South Korea. It looks like this place has sold a ton of them anyway.Well thats my rant for the day.Thank you for listening.I feel better now,as you were.

If there's one area losi excels at, it's making crappy starter boxes.

Ofna truggy start and you're done.;)

jjshbetz11 05-07-2010 05:18 PM

Ya the truggy Ofna box is nice. I would sugest going Lipo for the batt though... I havent and after half of a day at the track it neeeds charged on NIMH batt packs( but that is with my friends using it too) You are going to love this mill got 3 gallons on mine and it shows no signs of wearing out. Just wish I could get some more time off work to run more fuel through her.

I can go about a month on one charge with a 12v gell cell @24 bucks

JAMMINKRAZY 05-07-2010 05:56 PM

I use a protek lipo in mine. I used to use a gel cell, which worked well, but the lipo is just better all around. Lasts longer, has more power and is MUCH lighter.

dash riprock 05-07-2010 06:29 PM
