On a happier note, the .23 Truggy engines will be here in 3-4 weeks.

JS Racing 3 Shoe Clutches and Tools are now in-stock. Stayed tuned to the web site for updates and pictures. Losi style clutches coming in with the order of .23 Truggy engines.

Gonna keep working with my full mod some more, after all i got $300.00 plus in it including 086 pipe, it will start good on a 95 degree day as long as you use the heat gun to warm it up. Got just over a gallon on it so far maybe it needs ran more. I've seen the 4 js motors dissapear at my track all going back to o.s. motors, maybe i should order some bearings for my os motor and get it ready but i really like the speed this thing creates when shes warmed up and running..

Having a hard time starting is usally a sign of being super rich on the LSN. Sometimes the engine will run backwards when trying to start.

Ed just to be clear...the clutch WAS new...the FLYWHEEL on the other hand yes was old...but like i said I ran it on my speed with zero issues not going to argue about it... again Joe and Ed are GREAT guys, the engines did not work for me that is all..as I said before if they work for u then thats great. I cant believe no one has jumped on a FULL mod that joe AND Ed ran them selves...for $125.00 shipped?!?!?....

Wow!! This thread has really went south with all the negativity! Anyway, my JS is perfect! No issues what so ever. There are so many things that factor in a flameout. From a bad fuel tank, to a loose flywheel nut! IM running the OD 97T plug. EB Mods pipe. 25% Byrons fuel.

Default Some JS .23 video footage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObiL7MW7FAo

this is from a couple weeks ago at CRC Raceway in Rome NY for the northeast rcp round 1. after a miserable day saturday qualifying in the rain, the best i could come up with is a b main blowout. lol a bearing in my front diff let loose with like 2 mins to go battling for the bump. all that rain and calcium killed my drive-train bearings.

engine ran great all weekend! I'm loving it!

Dreaux I really don't think you will be disappointed. I came from running os motors (ninja jx21, vspec, speed) and this motor is awesome. I have right at a gallon on mine and I can fire it up with one pop on the box, and it will sit there and idle ALL DAY LONG. Just ran this past weekend and it kept up with the speeds all day flying down the back straight. This motor is amazing. And I am running mine with the OD 97t plug, os 2050 pipe (for now till I can get an 086) and byrons 30% nitro in an xray 808

I am sorry buddy I would not say that a JS can run with an Speed kinda disrespectful to the speed motor. The JS might be great for a guy on a budget. This motor should be compared to mills like the Go and so on.

Coming from personally running a speed I believe I can compare the two. I agree to disagree with your statement and I do think it can be compared to a speed

I didnt know the speed engine was something so special....maybe im missing something? ? but to me its just a glorified vspec, as is the jx which is a much better buy over the speed imo. I ran ebmods OS based engines for years, and i have more power and better runtime then I've ever got out of my OS's. to each their own i guess.
