I have been running the 97t in both my full mod and the race prep and they rock.

Bryce,
No do NOT run any OD plugs. The OD Plugs as well as the P3 are much to hot. OS P4 only for now. we are testing colder plugs now. p5, p6.

Exclamation OK EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW!

The recommend setup for ALL JS engines is a 086 pipe with a short header, 7mm stack and a OS P4 plug.

When and IF we come up with a better setup we will be sure to post and let all know. thank you!

you want the shortest one you got. which 86's do u have? pics? the header you use dont havta be from the 86's. so just look through what you have and find a shorty.

I know the RB 86 has a long header from the S7's and you dont want that.. lol

odd...I talked to Ed the other day and I told him I am running the AE 2035 and he said he did some testing with really good results on the 2035...I too am running P3 plugs and my engines run great and am getting over 12 mins to a tank on them...I also read that these engines are not "pipe" sensitive. I will try a P4 and see what happends..

Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan,
I'm the one that posted the engine isn't pipe sensitive. lol and its not! BUT for the BEST results we've seen so far, we recommend a 086 pipe and a P4 Plug, and I'm %100 sure that if you told ed you were running a p3 he would have told you to get some p4's. you think the engine is good now wait till you get the 086 and p4 in there.

chim I do believe if you stuck a odonnel plug in your head button you may have some problems down the line cause the threading on odonnel plug is different then os.

I hate to disagree but i have been running the od plugs with no issues for years. I understand that Ed and Joe recommend the p4 but i have had no problems with the od plugs and will not in the future either. I am sure that i would get better performance out of the p4 as joe stated but i have no complaint about performance that i am getting now.
