oh and bottom end punch is not a problem at all i mean it hits on bottom and mid like a champ....im running the full modded with dyn 086 in truggy i threw the race prep on the buggy but im gonna order me another full modded for buggy....it has more bottom end punch than my speed had, but honestly not the top end of speed it does lack some top end speed, but i really dont think it matters cause most fast guys i know all run 6 and 6.5 res in outdoors anyway like jesse robbers and jeremy black so speed doesnt win races anyway i dont think.....sholller ur coming this weekend arent ya??

the 9886 is the way to go if you dont mine the extra coin, but for me id rather save a few bucks and have a pipe that lasts longer. idk what header your post was about but if its short its good.

I already have a 9886 pipe on my MBX6T, I run it with the Novarossi 41029 header on a Extech 24.The 41029 header is the one that has to be run on the mugens because of the short clearance space that Mugen allowed from the rear of the motor to the mudguards.

The 41029 is a short header

Joe- I have ran the 2035 on every RB, and vspec I have owned with great results so good I sold EVERY pipe I has except my 2035's LOL...Ed said it was a good pipe on the dyno so I wasnt worried, like I said mine just lagged the low end compared to my EB MODS vspecs is all...I am sure the 086 will fix that even though the 086 is a "mid-high" pipe but who knows lol

that sux you sold all your pipes! i know the feeling and will never sell any of my pipes because of it. as for pipes most seem to run good on the dyno, but good is always then compared to the 086 which is best! the 86 is what all the development testing was done with. So everyone should have some sort of 86 to run even if you want to experiment with other pipes which we do encourage and appreciate any feedback we can get. thx!

pipes work different on every engine. forget what you heard about being a "top" or "Mid" pipe.

yea maybe a line of pipes that was made for a certain line of engines, but not in this case.

I have been running these engines for a few months now and I’m so impressed with performance, fuel mileage and durability. I mainly race at Revelation raceway and there are a few other guys who have them out there and most of us agree that this engine is a really really good. I have been running it with EB mods fuel 30%, O.S. p4 plugs and 086 pipe. I tried a lot of different pipes. 2013, 2057, 2058, 2056(baseball bat), and 2060 and the best all around IMO is the 086. I have been pushing 10 minutes at Rev running at 220 which is very impresive compared to when I ran Sirios and would struggle to ge 7 minutes. I know Ed is working on a pipe so I’m pretty sure that will be the way to go when it is available. If there are any people who have this engine and need any help whatsoever please come find me and I will do my best to help you out.

Thanks again Ed and Joe

i just dont understand all this pipe and glow plug fuss. i can kinda c the pipe cause everyone likes diff setup (hard hitten bottom, good top, or medium). but some of you guys need to relize edd has done many hours of testing and the motors compression and everything is setup to run a p4 plug not odonnell. so y not run the suggested setup...
