Hey G_Word, hope all is well. Can I ask you why your selling the JS? I see you had the head off so just curious if there is a problem or something?

The 2041 will make the engine more aggressive on the bottom.

If you are looking for a linear motor with killer run times the JS is for you. Many of the guys that are running them have all given great feed back on the power production and fuel consumption when teamed up with EBMods fuel.

Hey ed bridges, just wanted to say thanks to the farris guys for helping me a lot this saturday at the r/c pro race. I had a few issues (me) with my js motor and they were more than willing to help and show me which way to go with it. In the few minutes i spent talking to them i learned more about cars and engines than i learned in a year of running r/c. Thanks agin, they were a great help with the js engine and me....

The JS is great!! I was running the OD99t plug. I switched to the OD97t and it runs and idles much better. Can imagine a better truggy engine

I have had my JS for less than 2 gallons and I was wondering what I should replace first? Should I replace the rod, bearings or what? Any help would be great. It is going great, no problems to mention.

Personally I like to do the bearings(ceramics) and rod early on as they get very stressed early on with the breakin process...when doing rod get new wrist pins and the main pin that runs through the piston as they are cheap

if it isn't broke dont fix it. when you have the engine out just give it a rock at BTC to feel the bearings, and look it over for any possible leaks. if all is good run it!

My last JS .21 I got 9 gallons before i retired it, and didn't replace anything.

Thanks Joe, I will see how it goes and keep an eye on it. But for now, let it rip!
