How did you do?? Hope you at least had fun. We have a race in two weeks, and I am not sure which car I will run, either the Mugen or the Xb9, both at times seem to push a bit in the corners, the Xb9 is a bit more unstable but aggressive, when I push my Mugen it usually can't handle it and I wreck.

What causes a car to push in a corner? Do you ever adjust for maximum steering or do you move until the whine gets a bit louder on the servos? I have Ko Propo rsx aluminum tops on the Mugen and the new Futaba HV on my Xb9. I just had waaaaayyyyy to many servo issues on my Losi 8ight that I never even try to get maximum steering, the most I do is make sure my steering is in neutral and make sure the servo arm is in the middle, then adjust left and right based on noise. I can go up many clicks on my servos guaranteed, just hate risking a servo

There wasn't a specific thread on the NVR17011 front bearing for the Novarossi, but probably the most used bearing in this thread so thought I 'd ask the question here. I have a Werks B2 motor which has about a gallon on it and noticed the front bearing was leaking. I decided to put in a NVR17011 front bearing since I have put one in my Speed and everyone seems to swear by it.

So here's my question, after carefully installing it in the B2, it has a slight catch or notch when moving it....almost like one of the balls has a flat spot. I have heard bearings need seating/break in before but never gave that much thought. Should I be alarmed or just run it and assume it will be ok?

The crankshaft installs without issue which means the bearing is aligned properly and wasn't installed crooked. I lubed everything with Marvel mystery oil just in case it was dry.

Make sure the bearing is pushed all the way in. Did you heat the block before you installed? Did you use a bearing tool?

Yes, I heated and used an engine tool. It went in relatively easy. I used the old ofna bearing tool. It has worked in the past without issue. It uses a slide weight. You can feel and hear when the bearing is completely installed. Just curious if it damaged the bearing.

Am just gonna throw my 2 cents in, Your original bearing was probably good. That seems a little pre mature for a bearing in a werks to go bad. Not saying it isn't possible, but to say a bearing is bad cause it's leaking in the first gallon would be a wrong call to me, cause it still will be rich....
