Found my problem with the bog, clutch shoes weren't fully engaging. Looking at the small contact area I would've thought these would slip like crazy.

This is after a 30 minute main.

Hot Bodies flywheel and bell with Agama shoes. Apparently the shoes are Mugen style and the clutch bell is Kyosho style. They don't mate well obviously. LoL.

Well I didn't find my bogging problem. Got new "matching" flywheel, shoes, and bell. Same deal. Just don't have any torque first 5 feet out of the corners. The X7 seems to be running good but just lacking that oomph out of corners. Weird.

Chris, check the underside of the head button to make sure the plug is seated correctly. You may have accidentally cross threaded it. Been there done that.

Take your tune back to stock then try retune from there, if there was a bad clutch set up your tune is probably way out from chasing tune with bad clutch.

That is assuming u have not done this already that is.

I also had issues with this with one of my x7 and it turned out to be a air leak in the carb, sealed her up and she was golden.

Thanx guys. Soon as track dries today I'll see what's up. Jason I actually did check that last night. Plug is sitting perectly in there.

I found where the new clutch shoes were rubbing...barely...on the clutch bell. So I added more shimming and it seemed yesterday. But I need to get it fired up today and see where I'm at.

Well the bog I was whining about is was all gone today. Everything was flawless with that engine. However my buggy with BTT developed a bog but I think that is fuel tank related. The buggy was super dialed Friday and part of today. I actually was headed for pole position in Rd. 1 and 2 till I caught lap traffic.

Round 3 and then the main just the car just started developing a bog. I uad swapped to a Losi tank for practice but that was an old tank and the seal was dried up.

I'm just not sure if my tune was barely off, or I had tank issues.
