Update for Monty
This weekend rocked. Both HES engines (+4 Team, 7 FMS) rocked the house! Int Truggy TQ and 28 minutes of 30 minute A Main #1 till I broke a tie rod end.:flaming: Ended 8th and 2nd in Southern Division.:flaming::nod::flaming: Int Buggy Qualified 2nd and took it all the way to the end in 1rst place. Ended Southern Division 1rst.:nod::nod: Absolutely no tuning issues with all my Houston Motors when I saw a lot of other people with flaming issues. Had a thunderstorm come in with about 5 minutes left in buggy A main and it went richer but did not have any issues with it. I already made my last pit so I wasn't coming in again. Plus 4 just sucked it up and got me across in 1rst. On to Open Class next year. Thanks Monty.:nod::nod: |

Hey D - what's your clutch setup on truggy?
Shoes are med softs and springs on truggy are 2 - 1.05 and 2 - 1.00. That's what I ran this weekend with the HES FMS. Track went from loose to hooked up and then back to loose. If it would have stayed hooked I would have tried all 1.05 springs. Been a great setup and I get a lot of time out of a set of shoes. |
I have a Nova 528xr that im thinking about using for a Latemodel DO car. Is this a good engine for that? Its worn out and hard to find parts for though, unless anyone knows what other parts fit.

Hey I am breaking in the tuned N21r, so far everything is going smooth. I did 20 heat cycles of 3-4 minutes, and through it on the track for another half gallon. I am still running slightly rich and I am not sure if I should burn some more gas before I start getting to race tune? She still has alot of pinch.

How much fuel do you have through the engine in total? |
I did a little more drivin tonight, and she's got about 3/4 of a gallon total now.
