Do you have a suggested restrictor for all the engines mentioned above?

wow so many Q's in such few words!! LOL

plus 4 buggy 6.5-7mm , truggy 7.5-8mm odo97t or 77t both work excellent , if you like standard use odo100 or 77

toro nero (use turbo) odo97t or 77t , truggy 7.5mm with filled crank and reduce shimming to .70mm after run in period . the toro nero engines love a filled crank:nod:

FMS 7mm with odo97t , 98653ss/41005 or 41021 depending on how hard you want the bottom end to hit .

p5 just about anything will work on this engine as far as pipe/plug/clutch , it is the literally the most versatile engine on the market and longesat running best selling engine of all time for a reason

i personally like filled crank for truggy , 9853ss/41021 or 41019 depending on how much low end i need , sometimes i even use a 9886/41021 in the truggy when i need the maximum amount of power available out of the engine  ya baby!!

i recommend odonnell plugs and byrons gen2 fuels for killer performance and best engine longevity!! :)

Houston we have lost cabin pressure....

Hey Monty. I put about 6 gallons through an original P5 and it recently lost compression and or the front bearing leaks a bit. My question is....Can you rebuild this engine and put a houston tuned on it for a resonable price. I would lke to replace the bearings and have it pinched, and tuned. A new p5 is 250 so it's not really cost effective to put a new piston and sleve on it. I've been wanting to run your engines and this may be a great start for me...What do you think I should do without approaching the cost of a new engine? I like those old p5's just for nestalgic reasons so keeping it operational is desired.....

thanks,
Merdith

PS My email is [email protected] if you want to talk......

Hey guys, Hey Monty,

just wanted to share with you guys my joy. yesterday was our 8th (Final) round of our nats and the 3rd Middle east cup. still running my Losi 8ight powered by H.E.S P5XLT that Monty sent me few monthes ago along with 3 others for my friends.

i guess yesterday was my lucky day, i won the truggy class running my Nova plus-4/2013 combo.

and most important, i won the Pro buggy class running Monty's P5XLT, 3005 pipe and ODO97T plug, adding all the points throught out the season, i was crowned the Kuwaiti National Champion and the Middle east champion. i also qualified for the 2010 WC in Pattaya along with 2 mates, another friend with H.E.S P5 took 2nd place yesterday and he's also 3rd in the overall ranking.

i would like to thank Monty for his great engines and for his great support and answers. Thanks Monty for helping me win our Nats and make my way to the 2010 WC.

what engine am running in Pattaya?? Hell yeah am getting another P5 from you Buddy.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have the new "team" style head , newer 28028 thick turbo underhead with oring support , black coated block , the newer plus 4 style reverse carb and they now also include 6.0mm restrictor . All the internals are still the same though , they haven't made it a factory tuned version just yet but maybe next time ;)

likin the black crank case and the filled cranks!!
