Sounds like sales aren't Good so they have to say it's new and laser a new name on the head. Kinda silly if you ask me

Its just marketing, think about it everyone is always wanting to know what engine or model certain pro's are using. I would say the Discovery will fit just about everyone out there looking for millage and ton's of power. Best secret out there.:D Have not had a chance to run my Tebo edition yet but not really looking for anything above the Discovery and i run it in truck also...

I agree the Discovery is awesome at any price. Unlike other companies Orion cut corners on the outside "looks" side of things, but kept the inside up to spec with their CRF line of engines.. Which gives the average/budget/club racer user an excellent engine for an excellent price.. I must say Ron from Werks was the Pioneer of this idea though..

pitpop please help me clear my doubt ..:)

The discovery engine is a basic model of the WC (King/Tebo) versions. The WC engine will have different qualities than the older CRF. The new engine is exactly what it claims to be, a copy of what Cody used at the Worlds. The materials are slightly different, crank timing is slightly different, it should have a bit more power, smoother, and better mileage than the older engines, and it comes with the 2058 pipe..

Check your PMs. I replied to the one you sent me..

But for everyone else the 3-port is pretty outstanding in truggy. You won't be disappointed..

ELAD .Z. 06-09-2011 12:23 PM

Hello guys who has WC engines and how do like them?
Im currently running a JX21 in my buggy and REALLY like it but its over 4 gallons now and season starts soon.
So hows the WC engines compared to the Ninjas?
Are they durable and easy to tune like the Ninjas?

Thanks in advance:nod:

NO.. Much like the WCE motors it'll be a few months before it is out.. Check Horizon, they are the importer, and will have the best idea of a delivery date..

My guess would be p4, but don't let it get too hot or say bye bye to the plug, the Orion plugs are much more durable:nod:

Orion or WERKS either one will last longer and work better. But if OS is all you can get then a P4 or P5 is what I would use. P3 is too hot, and would be for using in extreme cold..

If O'Donnell plugs are available, use the 97T or 87T both work well. I am currently using a 97T in my Discovery and it rips. Took some leaning to get it to where it doesn't rich bog through the middle, but it's finally there, and no over heat issues at all..
